Okay guys, so the visa status says "Issued - Final processing".... but I have not received a tracking number. When should I expect one? Do they e-mail it?

I just received respond from the embassy saying this:

Dear Ms Frankovich

Thank you for your email.Our records indicate that the administrative processing on your case is still ongoing. PLease wait.

Hi Anna - I think the fact that they replied is a very good thing. Obviously, they are processing it for you, otherwise they would have replied and told you that you didn't qualify for a visa. I know waiting is very hard... but I think it's better to wait, knowing you're going to get it, as opposed to being told you didn't get it and knowing right away. It's a challenge to wait.... but hang in there and you will get it too

As I said, the endorsed immigrant visa in your passport serves as temporary proof of LPR status for all purposes for up to one year. This includes overseas travel and employment.

Given that your immigrant visa, once stamped and endorsed at PoE, itself becomes a temporary green card for up to one year, it doesn't really matter.

But what if i needed to travel outside of the US. Would I yhen just a foreign passport? Would they not ask me at the border where my green card is?

Does anyone know what the average waiting time is for receiving a Green Card after entering the US? Assuming that it is paid for before I leave for the US, how long does it take on average to receive it? I will be immigrating on a F1 as the son of a USC. Thank you

Yes they must say something but I am afraid they will tell me that I am under ap and I should wait for the process to be over its been two months...I am so scared that they might say I am denied ...guys I am freaking out here I dont know where my papers are at the embassy or they sent them back to usa...I guess if they had intention to send them back to usa the co would have told me on the day of my interview?

What do you think? What is your experience with the emails to the embassy? What was their respond?

I have emailed the embassy many times and did not get a response either. I have been reading other posts and noticed this is normal and had been like this for many years. I know it's easy to say don't worry... But I just want you to think about the fact that if you were denied they would have for sure told you and sent you back the passport. I honestly think it's just a waiting game. Ah least that's what I found out from all the reading I've done over hundreds and hundreds of posts.

@Adam Smith mine says issued last week Tuesday and on Wednesday noon I got the tracking # on Friday I received my passport.once again congratulation

Dont mind about the wordings beneath it. as long as your issued thats what it matters. Congrats! You'll get an email from canada post with tracking number soon.

On mine it said issued

The visa is in final processing.

It took about 3 days to get the visa ready for pick up

@Adamsmith, every case is different, my work permit in Canada expire mid of next month I think that is why they treated my Case very fast.i got my tracking number today, I should be get my passport tomorrow or Friday. Am out of AP holes. Yaaay

The best ttime to email them is in the morning at 9am ,Also use the public inquiry to send email. I sent a message through facebook, I requested that my email to be forwarded to the Supervisor this morning and I got a quick respond then when i checked my case in the evening it changed to Issued.

Well I've e-mailed them four times already and no response. How many times did you e-mail them? Did they reply?

My case was "touched" on Sunday oct 23rd and no movement since... very upsetting actually

It varies, others have changed their status over few hours, others took 1 to 3 days. Yours is definitely a good sign as you are approved on your interview.

Mine changed to ready for interview after about 25 days in AP then a few days later to ready and check back in two days. Today changed to AP.

Mine has always been in Ready... It never changed. Just the status update date changed... I know it would change if i contacted the embassy but I didn't contact them and the status update date changed. It still says ready for interview though so I'm not sure what's going on

Adam, I have read this from the previous post. If your going to back read this forum you'll find out. From what I have read, this means that they are working on your case. check back tonight or tomorrow or the next couple of days and you'll see it will be changed as issued.

Sorry to bother you with this again Ronnie, but my status did not change today like I had hoped. Based on your readings, after how long does it change from Ready to Issued in a situation such as mine? My status update date changed yesterday (sunday) BUT everything else stayed the same. Case still says "ready" for interview. Is it likely that it will be issued soon?...Or am I getting my hopes up for nothing? Any input would really be appreciated. Thank you again.
