  1. The earliest I can send my I-751 petition is the 29th April. I am 95% done and will be filing as close to the 29th April as possible.

I have just seen I am receiving a letter from USCIS National Benefits Centre in Lee's Summit, MO. Obviously, I have not sent them anything for processing at this time.

Does anyone know why they would be contacting me? Since my local postal service is sending me notification of letter's being received sometimes up to 3 days before they actually arrive, I was wondering if anyone could shed light on why they would be contacting me BEFORE I file my I-751?

EDIT - Just realized this is in the wrong forum, if mods want to move it please do so - apologies.

  2. Hello all,

My husband and I had a very positive interview at Boston, MA today. The IO told us we're had been successful, and to except my green card in 2-4 weeks, how to apply to remove conditions, when I can apply for citizenship etc. The IO even mentioned it was nice that our interview ended well as his previous interview did not end so well.

However, I checked my case status online and I'm getting the "Interview Was Completed And My Case Must Be Reviewed" status. Now, am I just being paranoid or is this normal/to be expected? The IO did not stamp my passport nor have I received any text messages stating that my application was successful like some people do. Is it just a case of be patient and trust our IO?

Any input would be appreciated, thank you all.

  3. City/ Town: Framingham

    State: Massachusetts
    Date of Service: 12/06/2016
CS Name: Dr Emil Yagudin, Middlesex Family Practice
    CS Tel. no: (508) 270 - 8844 (74 Main St, Framingham MA, 01702)
Cost: $50 for vaccination transcription, $20 for any vaccinations needed which can be done on the day
    Vaccine Transcription only available: Yes
Turnaround time: Make an appointment, took less than 20 minutes.

I know this Civil Surgeon has been posted before, but I wanted to reenforce how smooth and easy the process was with Dr Yagudin. He will do vaccination transcriptions without the medical, remember to bring a passport sized photo for the paperwork. There are no Civil Surgeons in Cape Cod that will do the vaccination transcription without the medical, hence our one-hour drive to get it done.

On the flip side, avoid Dr Paul Lee in East Falmouth, MA (http://www.capetravelvaccine.com).He tried to charge us $495 for a medical and vaccination transcription, when we tried to explain how the medical was not necessary (K1 visa, all done prior to entry into USA) he said he "didn't care how things were done in your country" and was very rude. Avoid. Very unpleasant.

  4. Hello all,

Am in a slight panic and could do with some advice.

My fiancé was laid off in February, just before we submitted our I-129f, but had a little freelance work going on.

We submitted our I-129f in March and was approved at the end of June.

We figured he'd have found work by the time I got around to my interview, but unfortunately he has had bad luck as hasn't been able to land a job despite multiple interviews.

He has been receiving unemployment but that will soon run out.

He owns a car, and has some savings but does not own any real estate. We have no one who can realistically co-sponsor this as neither of our families could support us financially.

My medical is booked for next week and am anxious about how long I can hold off booking the visa interview whilst he waits to find work and be able to send me the I-134 and associated support.

I could really do with some advice. Are we likely to get rejected if he is unemployed? How long can we realistically hold off until he can send me a the I-134 form with employment? Do we have any alternatives? If the embassy receive my medical results before I schedule an interview is this going to cause any issues?

Sorry if I am rambling, I have no real support with this process and would be extremely grateful for your help.

I am based in the UK, so will be interview at the London Embassy.
