Hello team. My wife and I have been waiting for her status change for about 2 months now. She arrived on Feb 10 and we got married on Mar 10. She already did her biometrics appointments towards the end of March and is just waiting for the next step. She may have lost her wallet yesterday and it contains her passport and social security card. The wallet contains her only form of identification which is her passport. What can we do at this point?

My fiancee has her interview next month and God-willing, she will be here in February 2017. We were planning on taking that 90-day allowance before getting married. Being that we are both females, should we consider rushing marrying each other?

Awesome! Thanks everyone!
Her medical is on Monday and her interview is on 12/8. Wish us luck! Prayers would be great too. =)

I still have not received our email and when I checked they said it's already on its way. We have already scheduled her interview for 12/8/16 and need to get the medical exam done soon.

Hi everyone. I would like some opinion on this dilemma that I have. Any help will be appreciated!
Our case is now on its way from NVC to the Consulate in Manila. When I went to CEAC's page, it said that "Your interview date was provided to you by the National Visa Center". I took a screenshot of this statement because, 1st question, Will St Luke's accept the picture containing the case number (but without our names) say we want to get a headstart on the medical exam?
Now if it will be accepted, my 2nd question is, Should I then go to the Visa Application website, and just choose our own interview date? This way I can print something showing that we already have an interview date, and therefore, be able to headstart her Medical Exam. This prevents us from having to wait for the initial appointment letter from NVC.
Or should we just chill and wait until we get the confirmation letter from the Consulate? And just wait until then before doing the medical exam. I just don't know if its good that I continue to have a headstart or just stick with their timeline and wait around...
It's just we have already gathered everything that the Consulate will probably ask from us. So I kinda wonder if waiting for the actual letter matters at this point when we have already anticipated their requirements. Feel free to tell me if I am jumping the gun too much.

Such a thorough response Awesome! Appreciate it!
Regarding medical exam, does she do that now before scheduling an interview? And what does she need to bring just for the exam?

Hi.
1. Per my timeline, I could now call NVC to ask for our case number. Is it normal that they don't pick up and that I have nowhere to look up the case number on their website?
2. As a petitioner, I know what I need to gather but as a beneficiary, what does she need to have prior to the medical exam and interview? It would help to know so she can start gathering all the documents.
3. When I finally get this case number (but have not received mail from NVC confirming receipt of our files), can I call to schedule medical exam at St Lukes in Metro Manila?
4. Regarding medical exam, does my fiancee need her vaccination record? What if she does not have any? Can it be done at St Lukes?
5. When do I call and schedule visa interview?
Thank you in advance to everyone's input!

My gf and I have only been together for 2 months. It was a summer whirwind romance and we had decided to apply for the Fiancee Petition. Our K1 application has been received yesterday. I am visiting her next month for a week and we had also planned for her to visit me in November. Her B1/B2 tourist visa renewal interview is during the time I am there. How do we convince their embassy that she is just visiting me in November and not intending to get married to "speed up the process"? I'm even already scheduled to visit again in December for 2 weeks and had already purchased my ticket.
During her interview, is it advisable to just tell them the truth that we already had a K1 Visa in process and that she just wants to spend some time with me in November?

You need to read more on the process to petition your fiancee.
You file for the petition here in US, when approved she will actually process her K1 via in Manila. There are so much more involved here. Start reading more info. My blogs has the step by step procedure, focus on the I-129F petition for now.
I see you are from San Marcos, we are south of you
Okay okay. I guess I just got excited but I will go ahead and file the I-129F first then continue learning about it. I see that you are in Chula Vista. Hello, neighbor.
What is your blog btw?

That is such great news!!!
So here is another question, I intend to apply here in the USA. Would we need to be together during interviews and stuff? I can't just take off work due to its nature. =(
You mentioned interviews. Would she be interviewed in Manila even if I filed here in the US?
The question I have is, do we need to see each other in December BEFORE I can file for the K1 Visa? - No, the time you first met counts having "met in person". You can file for I-129F petition now. Depending on the timeline of approvals now, your travel to the Philippines in December can coincide with her interview schedule and you can come back with her if she will receive her visa without any problems.
I have my blogs in my signature of our entire process. Good luck!
Aaaaw. Your story sounds amazing!

Hello. So I need some guidance on the item regarding us meeting in person prior to filing.
We met on June 5, 2016 and pretty much fell in love during her stay in the US. She did not go home until July 23rd. We spent about half of her stay together. Before she left, I had asked her to be my gf and she had expressed desires of getting married to someone like me. I actually said yes. Three days before she left, we decided to buy matching rings together (nothing fancy) to symbolize what we had been through. We continued to talk day in and day out and even fell harder. Our plans became more concrete and we are now considering applying for a K-1 Visa. Prior to meeting her, I had already made plans to visit Philippines in December so that was a great coincidence for us!
The question I have is, do we need to see each other in December BEFORE I can file for the K1 Visa? It says on the filing instructions that we need to have "met in person within 2 years before filing Form I-129F". Does our time together during her stay here (which includes us meeting for the first time, becoming friends, falling in love, agreeing to be girlfriends, and getting engaged-ish) count as the MEET UP?
Any input will be appreciated guys! =) Thank you!
