I suggest that your fiancee contacts her local Congressman in the US and ask for help from them. This will bring more attention to your case since USCIS must reply to Congressional inquiries within a specific number of days. Sorry to hear that your fiance visa petition is delayed. It sounds that when USCIS did the name check on your petition a similar name appeared in their search that it is preventing the adjudicator from reviewing your case. Petitions that have names similar to those who are in the FBI Name Check Hit list will experience delays.

    Hi  Cesar

we got notification that we have been approved. What a relief. We did eventually ask our congressman to find out about the delay. But we have been approved before they reply to him.

  2. Hi guys.

I need some help. My fiancée submitted our application for k1. We still haven't had our nao2 and the service centre have had our reply to our rfe 90 days we call every week and get no joy. We request to talk to level 2. Who when they call are rude to my fiancée and then hang up without telling her anything. What do we do we're are now told to wait until the end of January to find out further news. When we don't have any now. This takes our application to 7 months at the end of January. Who can we contact is there a level 3. I was hoping for good news but yet again customer service is missing the word service. Please any help will be appreciated.

    Thank you in advance

  5. Congratulations to all those approved

    We submitted I-129f on June 24th 2016

    NAO1 we recieved June 28th 2016

RFE we recieve 20th September 2016

RFE recieved by uscis 29th September 2016

THEN no more news. Every time we call the helpline. Who ever answers the phone says it's being processed.

Last time the advisor said we should be filling in a I-864 and when I said for a K1 it's a I-134 he made out he was correct. On the embassy website it says its an I-134 so I was right. It makes me wonder just what are they doing with our application. It's so stressful what's worse is people filing after us being approved.

When I asked to speak to a level 2 supervisor the time was 11:45am Californian time and the advisor said that level 2 were not taking anymore calls that day because they had dealt with millions of calls

Why have a helpline when they quite clearly lack any type of training. And then they don't really want to help

Then they add insult by wishing you. A great day.

Hopefully we should here something soon but I'm not inspired by a helpline that needs to be at the top of its game using the words I don't know or I will put you on hold.

  6. Hi all

I need some advice. I called the helpline and spent 20mins and achieved very little. The advisor did not have any idea. As a be

My fiancées brother has offered to be co sponsor. Now he is a self employed truck driver and earns enough to co sponsor. The question I am asking is because he works for himself what documentation does he require. As he doesn't have an employer he is the employer. He does not have a passport but is a us citizen by birth so is a copy of his drivers licence ok

I appreciate any help or advice. I wish the Information on the web and the advisors was easy to understand.

    Thank you in advance.

  7. Anyone know whether processing times start over or not when you're transferred? Still have not gotten our NOA2 and we're going on 4 months now. WTH?! This is getting frustrating. I just want to scream. I mean really?! What's the deal?

Sorry for the rant... :( Just don't know what to do anymore.

    Hi.

I have also been waiting 4 months. It's frustrating. And when you call uscis for an update all they say is it's still within the 5 month processing time. If that's so how are people being processed a lot quicker. I hope you and I recieve positive news soon.

  8. Hi

I need soma advice. My fiancées co sponsor decided to give back word at the eleventh hour.

She has managed to find a friend to co sponsor her. That's the easy part.

The co sponsor lives with her son who's a senior at college. But the co sponsor and the co sponsors sister and her husband live in the same house. The two share the mortgage.

Does this mean the calculation for the I-134 is for 4 people who reside at the property or just the co sponsor and her son?

    Any advice is appreciated.

  9. Here are the questions you need to know. Does she financially support her husband, sister, and her son away at college. If the answer is no, then she would just show herself and your fiance. If any of those three don't work, which I am guessing the only one she would support is the son, then she would only have to prove income for 3.

So it would be the cosponsor, her son, and your fiance so she would have to meet the 3 people income requirement.

    Hope this helps!

Update: CEAC shows READY!!! WOOT!!! Time to schedule our interview and medical Tuesday!!!

    Hi

Thank you. The co sponsor is only responsible for her son. She does not financially support her sister and the sisters husband.

I didn't think my fiancé would be included in the co sponsors number in the household. The co sponsor doesn't include anyone but her son in her tax return

    It gets complicated and confusing.

  12. Hi

Can someone please clarify the I-134 form affidavit of support

My fiancé has a co sponsor and they have a total of 3 in their household.

The figure needed to qualify for the poverty line is $25,200 which is 125%

It just seems high because if it's a single person as a co sponsor they need to earn $8,400

Can someone clarify as the more I read the more confusing it gets

    Thank you in advance
