    SORRY YOU PEOPLE HAVE BEEN DENIED..

    I GUESSS IT ALL DEPENDS ON THE TIME OF THE MONTH :o)) OF THE INTERVIEW OFFICERS....

    I ONLY WENT TO SEE MY THEN FIANCEE ONCED, AND WE GOT APPROVED IN OCTOBER 2005

    WE DID HAVE A LOT OF PHONE RECORDS...

    THE ONLY THING THEY ASKED FOR AT THE EMBASSY WAS THE FINANCIAL SUPPORT...

    HOPE YOU GUYS GET APPROVED QUICKLY...CANNOT IMAGINE BEING REFUSED :o((

    OURS HAS BEEN A PAIN IN THE A...SS :o)) LOL

    CIVIL SURGEON REFUSED TO GIVE SHOTS, ALSO HEALTH DEPT AS WELL DUE TO ALLERGIES....

    WENT TO ALLERGY DR. WHO MISTAKENLY TESTED HER FOR EVERYTHING BUT WHAT HE SUPPOSED TO CHECK HER FOR...AND $ 310.00 LATER...WE GOT A LETTER SAYING SHE CAN HAVE THE SHOTS......WOW.....

    NOW BACK TO THE CIVIL SURGEON...

    Anna finally started to relax when I got her in contact with someone who had been through this process. I actually asked for volunteers on this forum and they wrote emails back and forth. I have to say I think it was very re-assuring for Anna and helped her understand what was going to happen.

    Well check on the embassy site for appointment dates. I never got any info from them either. I looked there and my MOS number had a date. The first thingwe heard from Moscow was when marina got the packet

    Last year the people at AO MEDITCINA were considered to be more caring. The price was a tad higher and the results were avaialble the following morning. The people at IOM (MOM then) were considered a bit less polite, the price was a few dollars cheaper and the results were available the afternoon of the exam.

    People change so the caring part may not be the same.

    MY NOW WIFE USED BOTH..

    MOM WAS TERRIBLE...THEY GAVE HER A MAJOR MESS-AROUND...

    SO THEY COULD GET MORE MONEY FOR MORE CHECK-UPS

    MEDICINA WAS AWESOME AND FRIENDLY...

    SO, PAY THE EXTRA MONEY AND GO TO MEDICINA

    Thank you all guys and girls for support! We'll hang on, sure, but it's really so upsetting us. Its already 2 weeks after sending from NVC and no information at the embassy. As for their site with schedule for interview, they renew it not so often, so the only way to know it asap is e-mailing them or calling to DOS. Thanks for good advice! Good luck to all!

    if you use skype you can make phone calls from your computer and its cheap.. and you don't have to dial a dumb calling card number and u can recharge it from your house. wow... skype should pay me.

    I used www.sendglobal.com but cheaper with www.call-sierraleone.com (all countries), pinless setup

    They ALWAYS have some kind of activity going on that makes it more difficult to book hotels!!

    How much do you want to spend?

    How close to the embassy or center do you want to be?

    There are plenty of hotels available.....

    We filed at the end of April, received our NOA1 on May 6.......

    but still waiting for that darn RFE. nothing, nothing....when I call them, nothing.....they tell me on the phone that "The Vermont Service Center is currently reviewing petitions from April 3, so yours will be reviewed within a month."

    So how come so many people on this forum who filed after us have gotten their RFEs, or even approvals, already?

    I know, I know.....the way the government has this thing organized doesn;t make any sense.

    But I'm just wondering - other than iceyspots, are there others who are in this same boat? No RFE, just NOA1, who filed in May or before?
