  1. You will probably see with the embassy about the effects of US citizenship on your Moroccan citizenship. But I believe you dont lise the Moroccan one once you become a US citizen. Good luck

Yes , dual citizenship is acceptable , but i need to know if there is any process required prior or during filling the naturalization,

    hopefully somebody answer anytime soon

  2. Hi,

Do i have to get permission from my home country prior filling for US citizenship? or may may be after filling? home country is Morocco!

Morocco recognize dual citizenship but i have read somewhere something regarding permission granted from gov!!! can somebody help me in this matter!! i don't want to do something that will cause issues later

Thanks for your help, i really appreciate it

  3. Hi, the online status just changed to card producing after 25 days from the approval, I'm not sure if the online tracking is accurate or no?or if i should just keep waiting for the status to change or just contact USCIS, i got the NOA2 3 weeks ago, was approved according to the notice 25 days ago, I'm not sure if the status will change to something different or it will stay card producing

  4. Every time I called, no one knew where my GC was or why it hadn't been sent. I was suppose to have 2 call backs which didn't happen so I was asked to submit a service request for a lost GC which I did.

I've been given a case number and I've been told I should hear back by the 17th August. Here's hoping it arrives soon.

Hopefully you hear a good news soon, i myself don't know why i still did not receive my card too, i was approved 15 days ago:((

When did you start contacting them for your card? do you think i should contact them soon?

  5. I don't want to worry but i'm confused i got the approval letter 12 days ago & i still didn't receive the green card, i see here in VJ applicants get their cards just few days after the letter, is every case is different ? do i have to wait 1 month from the approval date to contact USCIS?

Your advice is much appreciated . the letter indicate to wait for 60 days!!! i don't understand ,

  6. Is your approval for removing conditions on your green card? USCIS provides a tracking number that you should be able to view when you log in your USCIS account.

I have the same question , witch tracking number are you talking about please? my self i received the extension letter, and then after many months i got the approval letter where can i find the number you are talking about? the status online never changed

  7. If your husband has bad credit and added you to his card, you already share the bad credit history

most debit cards have the visa logo, use that

and why a credit card especially with no job? don't answer / just consider this may be a bad decision

to restore or get a good credit rating, find a job, and build a savings account

in the US many are in financial trouble thinking they need a stupid credit card

save for what you want and then buy it

Personal opinion of course / no insult intendied

i always had money without getting a job, and i never had a credit card, i just quit a job and waiting for my last pay check , i have a good bank saving , i just bought a car using money cash, so i dont think i should wait until i get another job to have a credit card while almost everybody has one , i'm not thinking to buy anything because i do buy anything i want just with cash or with my debit card , the REASON WHY I STARTED ASKING FOR CC is the need to build a credit score, if i have a bad credit because i was added in short period to my husband credit card , its no problem , i can resolve the issue ,

    personal opinion

  8. There are 2 options for you. it is common what you are going through -

    1) Try talking to a local/small/ community bank if they will give a cc. you can ask for a secured cc if they are not ready to give you a unsecured one due to no/low credit worthiness.

    2) Capital one is famous for giving away secured CC for new residents. try that. that is where i personally started and was able to raise my score. i know have multiple cards and have mailbox loaded with new cc offers.it is just a slow process. you will get there.Good luck.

    Thank you for your help,

  9. DO NOT... I repeat... DO NOT have your husband add you on as an authorized user on a credit card if he has bad payment history. If he has never been late on any of his payments then have him add you.

A secured CC is your best bet. You can get one for as little as $500. Most banks offer secured CC. Capital is a good CC company to start off with.

Thank you for your advice, I will ask for a secured CC with my bank , do you think i must be working in order for my bank to offer me this Sec CC ?

i will try Capital one too

  10. do you have any credit score? you building one with a car loan , if you dont have any ( check out credit karma) then you should start off with a secure credit card from a financial institution, they basically hold 500 dollars from your savings account that will help you to build credit score fast then you can switch to a major credit card company.

    Thanks for your reply,

I have no credit score, i was just using my debit cards, i was added to my husband CC then something happened , he has bad credit i think, i was looking online now , there are few options like applying for a secured CC with the bank i have or i can apply for CC with Credit union.......

  11.
