Has anyone ever asked for a certified true copy of their naturalization certificate during this pandemic? Is it possible? Trying to call to schedule an infopass. I’m planning to apply for a passport and im afraid of sending my original naturalization certificate that might potentially get lost in the mail.

I have an upcoming interview next week and have started gathering more evidences of our marriage. My spouse and I have a credit card. I am an authorized user of the credit card. We also have a joint account under our savings account which we rarely use since we use our credit cards with majority of our expenses like food, bills, shopping, etc. As I was printing our credit card’s statement’s, I notied that my name is nowhere there, only my husband since He is the primary cardholder and I am just the authorized user. How do I prove this to immigration? Can I just bring both our credit cards and show to immigration since it has the same card number? Anyone on the same boat?

I would def bring him along. I had combo interview in Memphis. I brought my wife along but as we approached our interviewer he told us my wife could wait outside. It took just a few mins for the entire process.
Thank you! Did they ask questions to your wife as well?

I have an upcoming interview next month. My i-751 is still pending so i’m guessing this is going to be a combo interview. Has anyone ever done this during covid times? I understand the applicant is only allowed inside, but since my i-751 is still pending, do i have to bring my husband with me? Just want to plan since the place is 2hrs away from our house and I also have a toddler coming with us.

Is it mandatory to have a valid extension letter/stamp in passport even if I have no plans of travelling or whatnot? My extension letter is expiring soon. Applied ROC jan2019 and N400 may2020. No word form USCIS.

Thanks all! Next question is, how do i get an infopass? Do i just call them so i can set an appointment?

Do i just call them to get an infopass? Any idea how that works?

So I have a pending i-751 (for 18 months now) and pending n-400. I need proof that I am still a legal immigrant so I can work on my RN license. My extension letter is already expired. What do I do?

We just changed to "on May 24th we have scheduled an interview for your I-175 Removal of conditions. An interview notice has been mailed to you." !!!!!!!!!!
When did you file your ROC? How long did you have to wait for your status to change to this?

We filled in January 2019. We have our interview next month.
What can we expect after the interview?
When is your interview? It’s been a month since I had that status and so
far I have not received an interview date. I heard it takes awhile. Is your case expedited?

We all noticing trend if you are CR1 files goes to MSC and turns fast to ready to schedule for interview but it will be depend on your local office.. seems all CR1 will have interview at least that what trend look like follow the msc thread .. hopefully that won't slow the process requiring interview for all CR1
Oh wow. I’ll try to look for the MSC thread here. Thanks for the tip.

I think a few members here have that update, but I believe it’s still some time (9+ months) before you get an interview, as the local office still has to deal with all the other petitions filed. Depending on which local office you’re at it may not be as long of a wait, but the processing times are still 15 months minimum.
Thanks for the response. I figured I still have to wait even longer. It’s to good to be true if my case is quicker than expected. Hahaha

I filed last january 2019 and when I check my status, my case says that it is ready to be scheduled for an interview. How long do I have to wait for a schedule to arrive in the mail?

I received my biometrics letter. When will I receive my extension letter?

Hello Carlamariec:
I mail my package UPS on Jan 7th. USCIS got it Jan 9th and my bank showed the check cashed on Jan 14th. I sent a check from our checking account so I could see the transaction online.
Not sure how to deal with a money order. Never used one in my life. Maybe if you have a copy of the money order, or the money order "serial number", try calling Wheels Fargo and ask if they can tell you whether it's been negotiated. I have no idea if that would work as I never used a money order, ever.Thank you! I think i’ll just call wells fargo then.

I'm a Jan, 2019 filer for ROC. I filed at the Texas Lockbox Center. I included the G-1145 but foolishly only included an e-mail and not a cell number. From what I can see they never send anyone the e-mail notification.
Sent in our 1751 and document lump on Monday, Jan 7th. My bank showed USCIS deposited check on Monday, Jan 14th. I've heard case number sometimes stamped on back of check, but they deposited electronically so bank says I can't see the back.
Anyway, I would like to call and get the case number as you suggested. I am curious as to which number to call.Hi how would you know if a check got cashed in? I sent in money order from wells fargo.

oh yeah! i got my case number within 4 days of my documents delivered. and i forgot to include G-1145 as well.. Just call and use your alien number and they will be able to provide case number.
Oh yay! Was this recent?

Just now, little immigrant said:
You can call but once you receive the NOA you can track your case on egov.uscis.gov and myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov
Do you think it is already in their system after a week?

So I sent my I-751 packet last week and did not include G-1145 Enotification of application. Although I tracked my documents and says it was delivered, but is there any other way for me to know that it sent to the right address. I feel like im stressing myself about this. Should I just call?
Do I need to change my Social Security status?

Hi everyone! I am currently in the process of pre-employement. Signing documents for the company that I am applying at. I got my citizenship last Sept 2020. Due to covid, i’ve never had the opportunity to change my immigration status at Social Security. Is it necessary to do it now? Will it affect my employement? Or should i just wait till everything clears up?
