I never got a notification even though I sent the G-1145. I just got the NOA a couple of weeks later.

In my case, I haven't really "lived" in the States yet as we've been overseas almost the entire time, but I have a driver's license from his home of record, and that's where we pay taxes. So I registered to vote there.

My situation was kind of similar to yours, except my husband is active military and we already had the orders to another overseas location when we filed. We called to request an expedite after I received my NOA. I sent them a copy of his orders, explained our situation, and got approved. However, October 11 is only a couple of weeks away, and even an expedite (from what I've seen) takes at least a little over a month.

Hello, I am asking for a friend who is a Philippine Citizen, but recently naturalized as a US Citizen. At this point, is she a dual citizen or is she considered to be a US Citizen only? I was trying to help her out but we're both confused since it seems that you either re-acquire or renounce the Philippine citizenship. So technically, what does it mean right now since she hasn't done either? I found the information attached below, but it seems contradicting.
Any help would be appreciated! Thank you!

I traveled after I submitted my N-400. During the interview, I told them that I traveled to <country> on <dates> and they just wrote it on my application.

I was reading the topics you are all discussing and you have already done the works under 319b, I hope you can give me some ideas on this matter. I would like to use 319b for naturalization application but not sure if I am qualified. My status is as follows: LPR with CR1 and will expire May 2017, my husband is a US government employee stationed overseas and I am currently living with him as part of his orders (accompanied status), and his overseas tour will end December 2017. With my status am I qualified to use 319b for naturalization application? Thanks for any advice/comments.

We also included DD Form 1172 and my husband's LES.

I've flown overseas with my passport still in my maiden name before. Make sure the ticket matches your passport though. I also brought an official copy of our marriage certificate every time.

3. I put the extra sheets after Part 5 and 8.
4. I wrote N/A for everything that didn't apply to me.
5. I used a binder clip to secure the packet and placed it in a manila envelope.

I think we called every week to make sure they were tracking our case. If you don't get a response by Tuesday, I suggest calling again to confirm if they received your orders/request.

Have you tried calling the Military help line? They gave us the info on how to expedite our case due to PCS.

Thank you! They expedited my case, but we're still surprised how quickly it went. They were very considerate. The reason I was called for a last minute interview was because they won't have another one until October and they knew that it would be too late for me since we're moving. It also helped that Frankfurt does same day oath.
wow congratulations! Crazy that it went so quick. Maybe because it was outside of the US? Congratulations!

I had my interview today. The officer looked through my application while asking me some questions, mostly confirming what I have written on my packet. After that she proceeded with the test. I remember being asked 4 or 5 questions, and then I had to read and write a sentence. After looking at the rest of my paperwork, she made me sign a few things plus the Naturalization Certificate. Then she told me I'm done! I was the first one in the group to be interviewed so I had to wait until everyone was finished. A couple of hours later, we had the oath ceremony and we were given our certificates.
I can't believe I'm done with this journey! It's been a long and difficult process, but I'm so happy that it's over! I feel like I finally have freedom.
I am now a proud US Citizen! Good luck to all!

My husband and I travel a lot, and it's such a hassle to apply for a visa every time. I also want to join the military, and I'm not getting any younger.
Being able to vote this election would be a very nice bonus.

Did everyone who file with the new form got an IOE#? I filed with the latest form available on the USCIS website and I received a LIN#.

Is he required to fly on the rotator? When we flew from OCONUS to the US, we had them book us a commercial flight so we could fly together. So he was with me at my point of entry.

Hello,
I was wondering if anyone has any experience filing under 319(e) Overseas Naturalization. I've looked all over VJ, but I mostly see 319(b). We're currently overseas and PCSing to another overseas location in several months.
I'm curious about the timeline or if anyone else is going through it right now. I'm starting to get anxious because we're hoping it gets completed before we have to PCS so there will be less complications when we leave.

We'll be moving to South Korea soon, but we've been here in Germany for a few years. Stuttgart is not very far from where we are stationed!
