Just wanted to update everyone on our case. Today my husband received the official letter that his green card was approved and would be mailed in 3 weeks . We got a second letter confirming that it was approved without an interview! We are so overjoyed. I had been checking the app daily but the statuses were not updated.

Hi just to add, we got our rings really cheap on Ebay/Amazon. Google Tungsten, its very good metal and it was only like 12.00 . Not sure if they are necessary because like you said, different cultural practices. I

Just to add to this topic, like others are saying every case varies. But our case went fairly quickly. You can check my timeline below. The costs are something that I had to keep in mind of because the K1 process was quite expensive factoring in flights, hotels and fees.

Hmm I didn't notarize my letter of intent to marry either. I don't think you need to. I did explain and date the photos but it was hand written, not typed so I hope they accept those. I think those are not required either at this stage. So hopefully you will be ok.
