    Good Morning,

    Sister Sata,

You are right that everyone in this forum came out of boring AP and now got visa. But don't loose hope, Its something that some go ahead and some after. Its how life is, but remember the days and nights are so short and you will never know- how this years passes. Its true being patience for something is really hard. But keep praying and hope for better. What Allah has given or going to give us, May be its in our goodness. May Allah bless and solve our problems.

Patience make a person stronger. We hope you get it very soon. This 3 month ban will not remain and again will be lifted.

    Thank you Shams.

@Aminfei Hi there. welcome to the club! We went through the US embassy in Yerevan as well. Our interview was in June 2016 (4 months before you guys), and ever since our case has been pending administrative processing. It's been 'almost' 8 months that we have been waiting for our clearance. Just FYI, the AP is the slowest process ever with no completion date. No one, including the attorneys, can expedite it nor find out what the status of the AP is. You can try emailing the embassy to check on the status of your case but this is what you will get back over and over "We have no control over this mandatory process and cannot expedite it, keep checking our website on weekly basis to see if your case number is published." Apparently, if you guys are from Iran will have to go through the AP. You have been lucky to get yours but your wife has to go through the process unfortunately. Your wife's case will be sent back to Washington D.C. by the embassy to the Homeland Security for checking your background, investigation if your relationship is solid and you are not causing any trouble in the U.S. Once your wife is cleared, her case will be sent back to the embassy and that's when your case number will be published on the website. AP means security check and doesn't have anything to prove anything including your domicile. You guys can also check this website https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?eQs=o/iS8zDpeAKjMWCuebHqOw== to look up your case status by the case number. "Case last updated" is the date they have looked at your case if the AP result has been received from DHS. Good luck to you guys! Please keep us posted and update your Visajourney Timeline if you can http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/profile.php?id=256033.

I have just received a phone call from consulate to go there for fingerprinting.

I blv that sounds like visa issuance.

its odd, Isn't it? never heard about it.... you had your interview, and they kept your passport for issuing visa... why they called you now for fingerprint? didn't they do that before or during interview? I mean while you were in Embassy?

    hey SATA

yes , do check MOHAJERSARA .... there has been plenty of ppl with clearance and visa issuance, Im in the process of receiving visa myself.

I got cleared on the day Trump executive order though,

    Vitran jaan

I am at Mohajersara website, but no one Cleared there, those who go to embassies for visas are those who cleared before the E Order.

Did u get your passport with Visa? and please say which Embassy you were? did u had any update since interview? Its been more than 8 month for me on Ap and I had 0 Update, it makes me crazy...I can't understand why no Updates for me!!!

    Question.

Once Donald trump signed the order, is it going to be on immeditely next day? Is that easy? When they are talking about rolling out obamacare they were saying it would take months or years for them to do it. It is not a minute order. So I guess once he singed it democrats and republicans will argue on this. Otherwise where is checks and balances?

My fiancee has an interview tomorrow for K1 visa.

if it will be an executive order, then it is going to be act the next day

very sad and bad news I've heard in the morning today that Trump today will sign an Executive order to stop banning muslims and giving visas to Iran and many middle east countries.... Its been near 8 month I have been waiting and this news is a big disaster:( IDK what to do if immigration through family inunclouded in this order

Hi everyone, I'm very worried about what I heard recently about how President Trump will ban people from entering the U.S. from certain countries such as Iraq, Syria, Somalia and Iran. The media has said that Trump will sign papers to ban people from those countries starting tomorrow, January 25. My husband is Iranian and are IR1 - visa was approved in September 2016. We have been waiting for administrative processing since September. Do you think this new ban on Iranians will effect our cases, or is this just a ban for new applicants only?

God knows.... this is such a horrible news for all of us who stick in Ap for several month (mine near 8 month).... I just wish and pray he did not sign it for those who wants immigrate through their families...

    Aha,

    ABU DHABI.

SO How is the process going? Still too slow?

BTW doya know what slipper colors might mean ? Consular gave me Blue slipper.

still so slow and its so disappointing. the Color of the shits does not matter, white, blue, green, pink they are all the same. I got white one and the OC just check the passport and Administrative  processing's box.
