  2. Just came back from out interview. we had it at 10 am and we left the building at 10.10 already. She didnt ask us any questions because we had so much proof already send it. My husband just had to check if this is his signature on the I-130. I had to make sure my infor on the I-485 was correct. she wrote down and our passport and drivers licence numbers and asked if i left the country since i got my Ap card. She only mentioned that there was a problem with my medical. They changed the medical on August 1 this year that everyone needs a gonorrhea test and that even when my medical was before august first I would have to submit it. She gave me an RFE and said i had 32 days to submit it and 90 days after they got my new medical i could call uscis to find out if my green card was approved or not but I wouldnt get an answer before that. Well short before we left an other lady came and looked over some documents and said "oh so you got approved? oh wait I see your medical is missing. So once we receive your medical we can change the status to approved".

So I guess it went good but it was kinda strange. I am also a bit annoyed by the problem with the medical but its not a huge deal as long as it gets approved.

Did you submit your medical packet when you filed for AOS or did you bring your medical packet when you went to your interview?

  3. what about the IV package ?

    for the interview

    - birth cert

    - marriage cert

    - police clearance cert

    - tax returns

    - passport pics

    - passport

    - evidence of relationship ( not necessary )

the above are some of the mandatory things , it depends upon your case

once you get a case complete from nvc

you will get a interview letter which will list what all documents are required .

My husband is a U.S. Citizen and I'm the immigrant, what's IV packet? We are both living in the U.S. and I'm adjusting my status in the U.S. We sent off

And required documents for each form as well.

  4. Hello everyone I am about to send off my AOS application this week. Me and my husband are super excited! Does anyone know if with 245(I) or known as "I-485A" form if I should include a explanation letter of my eligibility as a "grandfathered derivative beneficiary alien"? I am including a copy of my mothers old I-130 which was approved on April 2 2001 that my grandfather that filed it for her who was a U.S. Citizen at the time (he has passed on) and my birth certificate showing my mothers name for "child and mother relationship" existed on and before and after December 20 2000 and also including prove of my presence in the U.S. before and after December 20 2000.

    Am I missing anything else?
