  1. Hello VJ members,

i want to get some advices from you, my wife USC is a PHD student currently and she is working as a lab technician in a university for a part time, that's why she can't do AOS of sponsoring for me. but actually we have her Dad and he is ready to co-sponsor me he already make a good salary and above the %120 way more but my concern he just retired from his work 4 months back, is he still can co-sponsor me or should i better find another co-sponsor ? and what forms and procedures to make my AOS or Co-Sponsoring ready, please give me a list of all requested documents and everything for AOS ?

  2. My lawyer said It typically takes 45 days before we get notice and that's if everything is running smoothly with USCIS.

Execuse me what your lawyer is saying to wait 45 days to get your first notice is definitly wrong most of petitoners 99.5% get their NOA1 within 1 week to 10 days most.

I think you should request the shipping tracking number and you can track if shippment has been sent or not, and could i know why u used a lawyer to apply for you however it's so easy to make it yourself ?

  3. That's exactly right.

Its extremely difficult to get a tourist visa approved once the US government knows you have an intention of immigrating. (i.e. your I-130 application)

If you already have a tourist visa, go ahead and visit.

If you need to apply for one then it would be very hard to get one as you already demonstrated immigrant intent.

It is not a right, but a privledge to visit. You will have to obtain a visitor's visa. Otherwise, you will have to wait until your I-130 is adjudicated.

    Good Luck!

Chances for a visitor visa are slim to none, don't waste your time

I already applied to a visit visa to US before i got married and it's Rejected, does this rejection makes things more hard to re-apply for a new visit visa to visit my wife in US ???!!
