  1. I would fill them both out, the K1 is a non-imigrant visa, but ultimatly she is imagrating. You need to fill out all the forms they send.

Alos when did you file petition? When did you get NOA1, NOA2 RFE's, where filed, what counsulate you are working with.

We are noticing a lot of posters not doing time lines, It helps us all when they are filled out. :time:

    Thank you

ok, i did the timeline...! thx

You mean to tell me that it only took you 7 days to get an NOA2 at Vermont. that's the fastest that i have heard of yet since i started reading on VJ in May.

    WOW

    congrats

  2. Finally I received my NOA2 after almost 6 month......I am so happy...Here is the message...

This case has been approved. On August 25, 2006, an approval notice was mailed. If 30 days have passed and you have not received this notice, you may wish to verify or update your address. To update your address, please speak to an Immigration Information Officer during business hours.

good luck to all of you who are still waiting!!!!!

    CONGRATS

  3. We got our NOA1 on July 31. And our NOA2 on August 23. That's only 23 days! I never thought it would be so fast. I figured we'd be waiting 3 months or more.

For all those people worried about the lack of activity for their cases....We never even got a touch. No touches, no RFE's, nothing. So don't worry about touches. They don't mean that much. One day I was about to leave for work. I thought I'd check my cases status before I went, hoping for some kind of change, anything at all. And there it was, simple, surprising..."This case has been approved."

To all those who are still waiting...good luck, have patience, and stay positive.

    that was fast.......congrats

  4. It should be smooth sailing from here on out. Enjoy and Congrats!

I just checked my mail and noticed a letter from my Congressman stating that he has contacted CSC about problem. I'm not sure if contacting him is the reason for my approval or not but right now I don't care.

I have a cold one in hand right now and many more to follow

  5. FINALLY approved... After one week of waiting for an email to say that CSC received my second RFE. I got one yesterday saying that it was received on 24 Aug. Then just a few minutes ago I just thought i would see if i was touched today and I saw that it was APPROVED. I'm still in shock that it was approved so soon after the second RFE that i received. I think it's time to celebrate and pop a few tops on some beer.

  6. Good Luck!

Yes i did include pic's and credit card statements that actually showed that i was there in Korea with her from the past year. Not sure why those didn't work. But since my last visit there in May I have had plenty of other evidence so I included more than enough items this time.

I'm frustrated, but hopefully with everything that i sent in today to CSC it will be enough to get approved soon. but like alot of people on this site processing thru CSC. I'm expecting the worse but will be more than happy with an approval sooner than later.

  7. Received my second RFE yesterday requesting evidence of meeting in past 2yrs. Sent the info needed back to CSC overnight. Now i have my fingers crossed hoping i don't get stuck at the bottom of the pile and that it's approved soon. I'll also keep my fingers crossed for the other's still waiting since March, April and May.

I just hope we don't get put at the bottom cause of receiving 2 RFE's. I can't take waiting another 2 or 3 months of not knowing what is really going on at CSC or where they even stand with all this ####### that's going on.

  8. This is my first posting since joining VJ around middle of May. But I have a question regarding a notice i got yesterday from USCIS. I received an email stating more evidence is needed for my case. Now after I receive letter in the mail stating what else is needed and I send the item back to USCIS. Does my case get sent back to the end of the line cause of this additional information needed?

Im really nervous that it will be sent back to the end of the line and the waiting game starts all over.

It stated that preliminary processing was complete. That's what i was confused about yesterday. If processing was complete then why am i just now getting an email about additional info needed now. But with the way things are going at CSC I guess it shouldn't surprise me to much.
