  1. Hey guys update : our Rfe letter came today and as I guessed, my fiance missed some boxes that he didn't check. Specially those were they're asking if he ever been convicted to a crime and stuff.

So he had a conviction for underage drinking in 1997. And a DUI 2003 and 2013. All were cleared. The question is does he need to mark that, and if he does, what type ofor document he does need to prove that he was cleared? He was never in jail he had tickets to pay or something like that. Thanks for your advices;)

  3. Hi all! Yeah I'll be happy to be in touch with you guys too. Ans because we won't be filing for Aos and other things the same time , it's good to create a separate group, somewhere else. For those who want Facebook is a good one to use. What do y'all think? Plus we can notice not everyone is posting here anymore as people starting to get busy with docs preparation and interviews as well...???

  4. Morning all!! A new week is starting!! Keep faith up and smile...and wait. Haha..Hope things will move faster this week.

A question...since the new fiscal year is starting October 1st, what will happen for the pending filings? How those things work?

I've read someone here saying that passed 60 days waiting your file is more likely to be ready in 5 months.

..please nooooo...I could go myself in California in their office find my file grab an approved stamp in someone desk and bam and stamp it on my file and walk out like a boss..hahhaha

  5. Congrats for your approval!!

Directly to the embassy? Not NVC?

Because you'll need a case number from the NVC to proceed to the payment of the visa fees and file online the DS 160 form, on CEAC website.

In any case, gather all the documents you will need for the interview, you can find in Regional forum here an approximate list of what they will need from you. Prepare them all, then schedule a medical appointement (you can check on US embassy website in Germany, the accredited doctors) then schedule your interview.

This is a summary of what you should do next. Find more in the Regional forum. VJ'ers feel free to correct this or add if anything .

    Good luck with your journey.

  6. To all July filers who are still waiting, I see nobody writes anymore, I know how sad it feels, so many approved and we are still waiting. I am sad too every morning checking our file status and no news, then ... I get myself together and I think about what I need to do, plans for my fiance arrival, marriage license where? clothes what and where to buy? house, car, insurance, drivers license, please, check, many states allow to drive with a foreign or international drivers license, better get one in your country, mostly in US is all places going driving your car.

So think positive all July filers, we are waiting, maybe God or life want to check on us how real we are and, keep it well and positive, we all are making our path to the new life, it takes time

    Tasha

Hey Tasha! Thank you so much for your nice words and encouragements for those who are still waiting...like me. It's quite sad, but what keeps us alive is the future. I'm kind of depressed not because of this wait, but because my fiancé doesn't want to talk about those things...like if I talk abt things that I could do while waiting for aos or ead, I just receive a "yes " "ok" or just no reply...or I go online check things like driver license ..all those stuff..I get no comment abt that.

I know how we women get excited abt marriage future things..but when you have the feeling that the person in front of you looks not exited at all or makes no comment when you talk abt it's just..i don't know..sad. I put all that in the distance thing but...arrghhhhh!

And I just don't talk anymore to avoid a fight.

I wonder how you guys are dealing with your loved ones and manage the distance.
