    Hi I am just in the process of starting the K1 visa. Has anyone being approved from Dublin as I would like to know roughly how long it takes. I have read it takes 6-9 months. Also I would like to visit my fiance as 6-9 months is very long to be apart I have read that it is possible but I would need to have prove of ties to my home country in order to be granted a visitor visa. Can someone tell me what would be the best evidence to bring with me for this. Thanks

      I suggest you visit right before filing and then rough it out, much less paperwork. If you really can`t wait, have the USC visit during the process, they won`t be questioned. That`s how we did it.
