  1. You're not alone. We are now on our 151st day of waiting for green card, EAD and AP.  I was supposed to have my green card  interview last sept 12th but due to my husband work we keep moving state to state and needed to rescheduled the interview. We called USCIS many time and told us to keep waiting. We were wondering if EAD is affected by our change of address as it's already 5 months pending. Can't believe it's still not approved. Let's keep praying and hope for the best!

  2. Hi! We are in the AOS process now and preparing paperworks to submit next week. We are confused on what to include for federal income tax return. He only has his tax for year 2016 after graduating and started his first firts job. We got his tax paperworks from H&R and its 20pages for year 2016. Do we need to submit all of that? Or the Form 1040A which is 2pages would be enough? Thanks in advance!

  3. Hi! I feel your pain I was also denied for a tourist visa when I applied here in Singapore. I'm also a Filipina working here for about 5 years. The CO didn't even bother to check all the documents I got, bank statements, company letter, property titles in Philippines, etc. She just said they can't issue me the tourist visa at that moment. But it turned out for good as we are now in the process of K1 visa. Petition was already approved and just awaiting for to receive the papers from consulate. It's better to apply where you are residing now but remember to get your original NSO birth certificate and NBI clearance in the Philippines if your going there. All glory to God! Good luck!

  4. Hi! We just got the NOA2 approval last 10th of November and waiting for the mailed documents to find out the next step. Me (the beneficiary) is also a Filipina working here in Singapore. Should I'll go ahead and order my CENOMAR online to avoid delays? We don't really know what else we can do as of now and we will really appreciate if you can suggest or give tips what to prepare for this time. I'll be going back to Philippines next month to get my NBI clearance. Is there anything else I should get? Thanks!

  5. Ah sorry I should be more specific. The criminal record paper was for me (American) who just somehow forgot to fill it out. I'm 100% clean and a government employee, no worries there. It was just the wording so I think what we'll do just to be safe is submit some other proof such as a note from family affirming our relationship, and some more recent call logs. I agree with Detron that this probably has nothing to do with proof about relationship though. If it is just the background check then that is no problem, my main concern is submitting my RFE with only the background check and being denied because they really wanted more as well. I also did call them, but that provided no help.

Here is a picture of the second page for clarity.

  6. Hello, I have gotten an RFE from USCIS for my fiance visa. This is a 3 page document, the first which outlines return info.

The second page says "...You are seeking to classify the beneficiary as the fiance of a United States citizen under section 101(a)(15)(K) of the Immigration and Nationality Act. Additional evidence is required to establish the qualifying relationship. Submit your response to this request for evidence along with the attached blue sheet."

The third piece of paper is a section of my I-129F that I somehow forgot to fill out regarding criminal record information. This is no problem I will just fill this out, but my question is regarding the wording on the second page.

Does "additional evidence" mean only the third sheet of paper about the criminal record? Or does it mean that additional evidence to support an ongoing relationship is needed as well as the criminal record on the third page?

Thank you for your time and help!
