In the middle of working on my i129f and I am not sure what to include, what not to include.
A lot of our communication is done via skype instant message. I have it printed out, but it is 100 pages long.
We also talk on the phone all the time. I have the phone records printed out. Thats about 5 pages.
Before using skype, we used e-mail. That is about 75 pages.
So....
Should I include all this? Is it normal to have this much "bulk" in this type of application?
FYI, we have met in person twice and I have photos and all the documentation to proove we met on both occasions and I will be including that, but I am not sure about what to include in terms of our communication while we are apart.

Understood. But if I use the most recent form now, fill it out, print it, then a few weeks down the road send my packet to the Dallas lockbox, by the time they get it the expiration date will have passed. Does this matter?
-
Let's say I send in my i129f near it's expiration date and they revieve it after it's expiration date, would this be a problem? Should I just wait till after the 30th to avoid problems?

As I pull up the form on my computer via the uscis site, I am unable to type on into any of the fields. What am I doing wrong?

We did not provide any emails, chats, or letters. It is not needed. Of course some people front load their petition, so if you want to you can.
How then did you prove that you two have a real and ongoing relationship? Having been in the same place at the same time does not prove that.

(mod hat off)
easily accessible at the top of the forum page. In particular, the K1 visa guide: http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1guide . Another great source of this type of information is to review some forum postings about these very often asked topic.
Good luck on your immigration journey.
I don't see in the guide where it states what kind of copies should be included....ie photo copy, printed pic, color, black+white etc.
-
I thought about that, but luggage tags are 8in long, 2in wide and sicky and kinda folded up and what not. Not sure a photo copy would come out very good. Also, I am pretty sure a pic of passport stamps would come out much more clear than a photo copy. But....what do most people do?
-
I'd focus on face to face stuff such as photos and travel tickets along with the emails and phone records. I wouldn't print out thousands of Skype messages - especially if they are trivial (they don't want to see page and pages of "I love you" and "I miss you").
Which embassy will you be interviewing at?
The Skype messages definitely are not just a bunch of fluff.
Embassy=lima peru

I have all the evidence, but I am not sure how to present it.
My passport is stamped, I have luggage tags, boarding passes, hotel receipts etc.
So, should I take pics with my camara of the above and get it developed? Should I use scanner generated pics? What do most people do?

The beneficiary and I communicate 3 different ways...
Email
Phone calls
Skype instant message
Emails are simple and easy to print as are phone records.
But.....how does one efficiently print skype chat logs? I can't figure out a good way to do it. Fyi, I have a couple months worth of chatting on there, so probably about 1000 or so messages.

Does having met through an imb and thus including the signed imbra form make the visa process take longer as compared to a a scenario where the petitioner and beneficiary met outside of an imb and no imbra is needed?
-
Her taking another passport pic and getting it to me will not be simple due to various factors and as such I was hoping the pic I have would suffice. It appears that it will not. But I will do what I need to do.
-
The passport style photo of the beneficiary's face is nicely lit on one side and slightly shadowed on the other. It is as though there is a very small amount of side-lighting going on.
Is this a problem?
-
I noticed that the letter of intent needs to be original and the i129f needs to have the original signature. What else needs to be original? IMBRA? G325a? The uscis site states that legible copies are fine unless otherwise stated, but I don't see this stated much at all.

Next question......
There is a section for the applicants address for the past 5 years.
Below that there is a section for the address outside the USA if within the last year. My fiancee has ALWAYS lived outside the USA so in this case what does one do with this section?
-
Not necessarily. If what you are sending is for front-loading proof of relationship for the consulate, then it doesn't really need translations. That evidence is for the K-1 visa interview, and usually documents that are in English or the native language of that country are accepted. If it is something that is required by the I-129F petition, then yes, it needs to be in English or have a translation with it.
OP> Fill out all the forms and supporting documents in English. Foreign addresses can be left as is though. Just write them exactly as you would to mail them something.
So documents required by the I129f.....such as imbra etc. need to be in english or be translated but e-mails, messages to demonstrate an ongoing relationship can be in her native language?
I hope this is the case. I speak english and spanish. She speaks only spanish. ALL of our communication is done in spanish and I would hate to have to get a certified translation for all of our messages and emails just to prove that we have a real relationship.
How could I verify this?

Loose papers and pictures in a big envelope?
In a binder with each page in a plastic sleeve?
Does it not matter?

Getting everything in order to get the k1 for my fiancee and I noticed that she (the fiancee) wrote a few things in spanish (her native language) on the G-325A, such as the title of her past occupations at her past jobs. For example she put "cocinera" instead of "cook".
Is this going to have to be translated or does this not even matter?
I would love to have her filling out another one just to avoid complication but that isn't as simple as it sounds.
