  1. I'm in a problem and I don't know what to do, my uncle and a cousin will come to the country in search of refuge, my uncle's brother received them both, but things are not going well, he is in another state, I would like to bring them to live with me.  however, as soon as he arrived in the country, his brother turned off the gps he got from immigration, my uncle received a paper that asked to go to an immigration office within 60 days, but no one took my uncle, I don't know what what to do, I'm long and I don't know how to help, I would really like to have them close, they are in FL and I am in TX, my uncle is very afraid, could someone help me?  thanks and sorry for the mistakes.

  2. Good evening everyone, a friend has a question, but is a little afraid to manifest it on the internet.
Let's go, he's married a year, he's been in the USA with the CR1 visa, he's already been here for 6 months, but the marriage is not working, he said there are a lot of fights, and fights for bullshit, stay 1 week well, and 4 weeks of fights, he's very depressed, and he asked me if he has a problem getting a divorce, he lives in Florida with his wife, he still has the conditional green card, is it any problem for him to get a divorce? Will green card renewal have problems? his marriage was in good faith, to prove that would not be a problem, his doubt is in the sense of imitation. I'm sorry for the mistakes, I'm still not fluent in English and I'm using the translator, since I thank you for your attention, and please try to avoid the judgments :)

Thank you!  I appreciate your help.  When you had your medical appointment in Rio, how many times did you need to go back to see the doctor?  Did you have to go to other places to do the blood work, xrays, etc?  We are trying to determine how many days before the interview should make the appointment for and or arrive in Rio.

I lived in São Paulo, then I did the Medical part, in São Paulo I went to the medical office, the same day I did the exams, and after a 7 (including weekend) I went to get the package in the office, I can not tell you as is the doctor in Rio de Janeiro.

  4. Hello how are you ? recently was in the same place as you, I had my cc on 24/10, on 06/11 we received the date of the interview by telephone, on 13/11 he changed to "in transit", I believe the consulate received the package in the on 27/11, because it was the last update on the CEAC website, a week before the interview I had another update on the site, but I believe that this was just to review the case, I know how all this is tiring, but try to calm down, no there is a formula, there are cases that receive the interview date in 1 week, others in 1 month others in 6 months, each case and a case, I wish good luck and soon your journey will end :)

  5. Hello how are you? Your mother made the process through the CEAC website and so you do not have the package? Calm down, did she get a leaf talking about it correct? Leave this sheet in hand, as soon as she arrives at immigration she informs or shows the visa passport to some officer, he will probably take her to a room, but there is no need to be nervous, it is the standard process, it depends on where the POE, it may be quieter, make a list for her with a few basic questions and answers, this can help her.

  6. (3) You must submit two identical color passport-style photographs of yourself and your spouse (if he or she is
in the United States) taken within 30 days of filing this petition. The photos must have a white to off-white
background, be printed on thin paper with a glossy finish, and be unmounted and unretouched.
The two identical color passport-style photos must be 2 by 2 inches. The photos must be in color with full
face, frontal view on a white to off-white background. Head height should measure 1 to 1 3/8 inches from top
of hair to bottom of chin, and eye height is between 1 1/8 to 1 3/8 inches from bottom of photo. Your head
must be bare unless you are wearing headwear as required by a religious denomination of which you are a
member. Using a pencil or felt pen, lightly print your name and A-Number (if any) on the back of the photo.

You can take a photo, send the file by e-mail and your wife / husband, print it at some photo shop.

  7. Good night, very happy for you. So, you probably did the sending by email or upload, in these two cases, you do not receive the famous sealed envelope, this is quiet, explain very well to your mother, since the information is relatively new in some airports, in the letter of the passport, on a scale in Mexico, "Brazilian citizens do not need a visa to travel to Mexico for up to 180 days, when the purpose of the trip is to carry out tourism, business, traffic, sports activities without pay, and any other unpaid activity. " (information of the embassy of Mexico https://embamex.sre.gob.mx/brasil/index.php/avisos/237-03-supresion-visas) but a tip, I do not know the age of your mother, but it would not be more easy one-way flight in the united states? Have you tried searching for those mile websites? Good luck and congratulations :)

  8. Hello how are you? I can not talk about your case because I believe that each case has its own particularities, but in that first moment it is more important to show that you know each other personally, try sending more photos, a copy of the reservation in the hotel, flight itinerary, things that show you were together in the same place, photos with friends and family, of course, if you want to send chat log ... but this will be much more relevant in the interview, where you can prove that you had a continuity in the relationship, good luck and a great 2018 :)

If you're just printing - the acrobat reader route is fine. However, it sounds like you might have printed the documents as PDF, using the pdffactory printer driver. This is where that got added. If this is the case - no matter where you print them from (acrobat reader, foxit, etc, anything) they will have the watermark.

You either have to recreate them with a program without a watermark or strip them out with another program if you don't want them.

Practically speaking, I doubt it will make any difference, but I'd want it gone if it were me, too.

I really do not know what happened kkkk, I think it does not look very well with this, I will try to withdraw, and in the interview I ask if there is a problem, so other people will not go through the same :) Thank you

    that costs money

I'm guessing you've done some kind of editing or file combining?

I'm on a mac, when I had this problem I used the built in preview app, it allowed me to put a white text box over the watermark

I did not edit, just open the documents and print, but I think it's better to sin for the excess than for the lack, I'll try to print without those marks.

I don't know if this is a problem, but its probably better not to have it.

What exactly are you trying to do? What docs?

I'm printing everything I'm going to use for the interview., but the program I'm using puts a watermark on the sheet of all sheets.

    Hello!

Our k1 visa was approved on November 28th. :D

Does anyone know how long it takes for the Rio de Janeiro consulate to issue/finish processing the k1 visa + shipping? We want to be home for Christmas, but we don't want to buy our ticket too early if the passport hasn't come in the mail.

    Thanks!

will depend on the state, the further away from Rio de Janeiro, the longer the delivery will be.

Has anyone seen issues with a beneficiary that is still working on their english proficiency, having difficulties in the interview approval process? I would like to attend in Rio with my fiancee but since my Portuguese is extremely limited Im worried my presence and the ensuing process being conducted in English would only increase her stress. Advice?

Hello how are you ? So, I always see reports of interviews, and being fluent in English is not a problem, the consular agent can ask in which language you want to do the interview, usually the interviews are in Portuguese, from what I saw, it is done in English when the petitioner this present, if this is your case, I'm calm, say you want to do in Portuguese, of course, the agent can ask how you do to communicate, but really did not see great problems in these situations. :)
