Me. I'm waiting for the Jacksonville, FL office. Package sent on Dec 17th, email/text notifications received on the 22nd, and NoA in the mail a week or two after that. My status is still at "case received" and "fingerprint fees received", although I already did the biometrics and received the EAD/AP combo in early April.

Called a couple of times and they wouldn't give out any information, and not even tell me if the field office has the case yet..The online processing time for Jacksonville is in mid-September but has only moved about 2 weeks in the last two processing time updates. I'm hoping that we get at least a month notice whenever interview time rolls around because my spouse has a lot of traveling coming up starting in October/November for medical residency interviews, and we might even have to reschedule the interview.

We did call too a few weeks ago and they cant give any other info aside from the one the website. We want it sometime september. Wife has high risk pregnancy, dont want to stres her out.

    thanks for your reply!

I have a priority date of December 1st 2016, and live in Seattle, where the USCIS site says they're processing cases with dates in mid-August. Ugh.

Even speaking to an L2 on the phone to see if there was any additional information was of no use. I couldn't even get a firm confirmation that my file had been passed to the Seattle office, just vague responses around "it will be processed there" and "you're still within normal processing times".

Thankfully my EAD/AP process was smooth and I've been able to secure a job and visit family back in the UK, but getting the GC is just taking longer than I expected.

Any other Seattle filers in a similar boat?

Kinda in the same situation but im here in California. On the processing dates in my local office, it says September but it has been moving just two weeks on the last two months. I guess it would take 9-11 months from December 2016.

Does your case status still states "fingerprint received..."?

  3. Is there anyone here who filed last December 2016 and still has "fingerprint received..." on their case status on uscis website?

We filed last dec15, 2016. They received it on dec22. Had our biometrics done on jan19. Ead card received around march 20. But I485 status still says "fingerprint received..." Just want to know if someone has same situations or any opinion or input would help a lot.

    thanks!

I would assume most of the people on this thread do have an SSN card already.

Getting a SSN with the EAD will have the DHS restriction mentioned on the card.

I would apply for another SSN once I get my GC to have the DHS restriction term removed from the card

Just applied for a SSN with the EAD yesterday. You mentioned a DHS restriction. May I know what it is? Just curious. Thank you!

I just read the thread and people here are saying only for work.. Does that mean i cant use it for medical insurance?

  5. Got the EAD mailed today! Thanks to everyone here for all the infos and support!!!

Just for info, I will share my timeline. I am under f2a category.

    date they received my i485, i131, i765: dec15, 2016

    biometrics appointment: jan 19, 2017

called uscis on 75th day from filing date. No service request filed.

Card is being produced: march 14, 2017

Card was mailed: march 20, 2017

Ead combo card on hand: march 22, 2017 (DAY 97)

*just a note: i131 online status still says file received and i485 still says fingerprints received.

Where did i say its not a combo card ?

For the i-131 status update has always been funky for most people, some people dont get any update but get the approval letter and combo card. Some people like me will get an update on i131 and still recieve the approval letter and combo card.

USCIS started issuing combo cards which include I-512 (Advance Parole) since 4/5 years back. Till the point you had applied for I-131 and they have not rejected the same, you can be rest assured you would get a combo card.

Thanks! Just got the letter from uscis, it does say approved 1765 and i131 (or i512). And you are correct again, even though i received the letter already, the status online still says the same for the i131. Hoping that the ead combo card will arrive soon! Will update you guys.

So in typical weird things which happen with USCIS, my case status changed from "New Card is being produced" to "Case Approved" today, also it updated the i131 also to approved, which was earlier not updated.

I think it is usually the other way round Case approved to New Card is being produced, i dont think it matters much but just thought would bring it to others notice

Mine changed from new card produced to "mailed to me" just now. But my i131 is still the same, it still says file is received. I thought it supposed to be a combo card??

Hi Everyone.  Just wondering timelines...  Everything was received 12/19,  biometrics done 1/18.  And then nothing.  Is this normal?  Any advice would be great.

I would suggest calling uscis and filing a service request. Its been 90 days already so you should have an update on ead or rfie/rfe or anything at all. You can also do it yourself online but I would recommend calling.

Its just hoping for the best and that this week people will hear good news.

People who have recieved EAD, how many days does it take from i-765 "Approved/Card is in Production" to "Mailed to you" status ?

For me it directly wen to new card is in production, and now i am obviously waiting it to change to Mailed status

Mine says "new card being produced" on march 14. I called uscis this morning, they said it usually takes 7-10 business days before it changes to being mailed.

I wonder what's the timeline for members here...

    Card Was Mailed To Me

On March 14, 2017, we mailed your new card for Receipt Number MSC to the address you gave us. If you do not receive your card by April 13, 2017, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request that we send your new card to you. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

Mine says something different for my i-765. Title says "new card is being produced". On march 14, 2017, we ordered your new card for reciept number msc, and will mail it to the address you gave us...

I just hope it gets mailed really soon. I had it expedited due to health reasons.

Waiting for an update soon too !

I actually just called uscis ( was scared I may have missed a Rfe) the lady I spoke to told me I had no rfe pending , case going smoothly and that I should get an update by Monday. If I don't, then I should call them back on Monday to get one.

Not sure if their customer service is 100% accurate but I hope so.

Since we almost have the same timeline, i will try to follow up on monday too. I will update here.

unfortunately, i haven't received EAD yet. It's more than 90 days and they are still reviewing my case since I submitted a service inquiry.. I'm on a working visa, so I don't really need it for now. But hey the wait is driving me crazy sometimes.

I heard other folks who are on F2A AOS received their EAD within 90 days. Though they requested to expedite the process.

Oh well, you gotta be patient in the whole process.

Did you receive a RFE or a RFIE? How did they expedite the proces? Thanks
