  1. A few words come to mind......... beat, beat down, blue, caved in, come apart, crestfallen, dashed, daunted, depressed, deterred, dismayed, dispirited, down, downbeat, downcast, glum, lost momentum, pessimistic, psyched out, put off, sad, unglued, discouraged, and plain old pissed!!!

Demoralized, deflated, debased, disheartened, stagnant, stimied, status quo, blase, unhinged, deflowered, discounted, disregarded.

  2. We had everything organised and she just felt she was not ready to get married, she had a huge breakdown with it all and we felt it was best that we leave it and try and move on.

Its very easy to sit behind you big monitor and keyboard and have a nice little pop at people but it shows you to be nothing but a idiot.

If you asked me where i would want to live London or Greenwood,IN there is only one place. LONDON. She felt she could not leave her family and i could earn well in the US. Hence the reason we got this far.

She feels that its too much pressure and that getting married is not right for her at the moment. Thats fine its just that i cannot continue this long distance anymore as much as i love her, its getting me down.

I would be leaning toward London, given that choice too

Sorry for the demise of your relationship. It is brave for her to own up to her fears and for you knowing that you cannot continue any longer. Here's wishing you both sunnier days to come.

  3. What is the processing time for the I-129F?? or shall I say, what is the goal or expected processing time supposed to be??

Or, what is their commitment goal or goal to be committed?

    I need a flow chart with a color-coated legend.

For those of you not understanding the english used by USCIS

"We can screw you all we want and you can't do a damn thing about it....Hahahahahaha.... Now piss off"

    Enough said

You forgot to mention that they are committed to service while they screw you over without recourse.

  4. Well this is going to make my next visit to her in September that much better. After 404 days (that's not a typo) we are finally approved.

My application was sent by CSC to VSC by mistake once and finally we are moving on.

I still think it's close to a record though.

    Holy Hannah! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  5. This whole process really burns my a**! We should be through this ####### by now..and then I see people complaining cause they have had to wait since may or june. My fiance and I have decided if this is not done by January..then we are going to cancel and then try to have him come to Canada...cause I really cant take much more..we have already been apart to long....sorry I just felt like I needed to rant..thanks for reading.... :reading:

Rant away! You are allowed and deserving.

  6. Ok, so I just called the Dept. of Homeland security and asked what happens if the security guards in Newcastle, UK open and break the seal on my fiance's brown immigration envelope. Operator 61 informed me that they will and that the immigration office in Detroit will accept it due to the High Security Level. That they will KNOW security had to open it...but I have my doubts. I'm calling back and seeing if operator 45, 58, 34 or whoever I get gives me the same line....

And can you get this statement in writing and signed in blood?

  7. Hello everybody!!!

We've been approved in 15 days! We just feel wonderful but we wonder how could this be possible? Guess what no RFE yet..... Is it normal? Our NOA1 took longer then NOA2. I've learned according to VJ website that people's case approval takes longer then 15 days I've seen that some of them waited more then 60 days. It is really amazing that we've got approved within such a short frame time. I wish everybody would have good luck.

    Mine took 145 days.

    Congrats.

  8. Gosh, maybe it is better to leave a sleeping baby alone for awhile. Kicking up dust might lead to a much bigger mess than what you have currently. Maybe Bush will emancipate all illegals (argh!!) and your dude will be free to stay. Maybe wait and see what happens there over risking total upheaval. I know we are all advocating doing the right thing on this site, but perhaps biding your time until you have all the answers and consequences might be a good idea.

Please start reading up on everything as you are not very well informed at this stage and there are too many question marks for folks to really know what else to advise.
