I think you shouldn't be in hurry to make the medical examination because the visa validity is determined from the date your medical exam done, so i suggest if you do the exam before your interview date by 3 weeks at least.

I did my medical exam at El Shorouk Hospital and they are good and didn't face any problems there.

it's going to cost you about 1800 L.E for all medical exams, X-Ray, Lab. & Vaccinations.

    Best Regards

i wanna share with you some piece of information that it might help " that the TP test  which determine your visa validity is valid for 6 month " and i confirmed that information with doctors themselves.

    Hi all!

Which hospital and doctor is better to have your medical examination done at/by?

    Dr. Magda Ramzi Habib
    Anglo-American Hospital

    or
    Dr. Hesham El Boraolosy
    Dr. Eman Roshdy
    Al Sherouk Hospital

Al Sherouk is actually much closer to us... But we do not mind going to Anglo-American if it's better.

We just got case complete but have not been scheduled an interview appointment yet, so another question I have is: How soon once we get the interview appointment should Ahmed go and have his medical examination done?

    Thanks!

another thing that i would like to add i did my medical before i scheduled my interview and unfortunately the first slot available was 3 months ahead so please be noted of that best of luck

You're probably right as I've seen two different answers on how to get Aramex confirmations in Egypt.  I truly wish you tons of luck at your interview.

Ahmed and I plan on relocating to Atl shortly after we move to Columbus; I think you'll like Atl. :)

Yeah I assume it's pretty different and tricky procedures.

and yeah my fiancée says that so as she born and raised there.so if you needed any help you can reach us there

Hi ~ You need to sign up on this website. It will direct you to another website where you enter the information you would give the NVC when you call in. LIke case number, name, birthdate of applicant. As you are filling out this information, it will ask you which Aramax site in Egypt you want to use. After you select it will give you the option to print it off...Make sure you do this. This is what you bring to your interview.

    Good Luck

Here is a similar thread and the answer that you guys are looking for. You can also go to Amamex and have them print it off. be sure it's the barcoded confirmation page

Hello, I suppose that it's different with the K visa as I already did sign up 5 months ago to be able to pay the fees and book my interview and I couldn't find the print option that you mentioned above.

so I guess that I'll go to aramex office the one near the embassy few days earlier and print it out.

thanks a lot and good luck for you too cya in the peach state tho :)

Excuse me if I'm wrong, but isn't the document he's needing to send to the US Embassy Cairo coming from the US and not Egypt? So this would not apply to him if so... ??? I agree it would still all in all be best to ship through Aramex regardless of whether it's being shipped from the US or Egy.

Yeah you do have a point here but I assumed that he already got the letter and if I'm not mistaken I guess that Aramex located in the us also so it's easily could be sent from aramex us to aramex Egypt then forwarded to the embassy tho.

    Thanks

can you please advise if should add any details to their regular adress at Garden city ? Ex: consular section and/or Immigrant visa unit ? Just tell me exactly the address you wrote

I just went to Aramex head office in mosadaq street, mohandsien and picked up a ticket for the American embassy then told the guy there that I need to send few documents to the embassy he asked me is it for immigration purpose I said yes then he took the envelope from me and wrote down my passport number, case number and send it to the visa section in the embassy..and it's free :)

  7. Yes that's what you have to send to them. When they receive it and everything is good they will let you continue in the traveldocs to print out the cgi slip you pay the fees with and after you pay the fees you should be able to schedule your appointment after a couple of days.

Regarding the translation, Yes I have seen that and just like you I thought I needed translations, but I called the embassy to ask where should I get it translated for it to be viable and they told me I don't need translate anything unless it's in a language other than Arabic.

Thx a lot bro you've been so helpful to me and I really appreciate it . And I hope that you allow me to update you with what happenes tho if you don't mind .

P.s : you've just got a family in the peach state if you needed anything in the future ✌️️

  8. No you don't do the medial yet because you don't send them that. You do it 3 weeks before your interview bc you take it with you to the interview and also Bc it takes a week for you to actually receive it after you do your medical check ups. And you can't just go to any hospital there are specific hospitals they want you to go to.

And as far as the translations you don't need to translate anything because there are people who read Arabic inside the embassay. My fiancé and I didn't translate anything. And we were perfectly fine.

So to double check with you what I need to send are :

    1- photocopy from passport

    2- photocopy from birth certificate

    3- original police certificate

    4-I- 134 affidavit support

    5- tax returns

    6 - a copy from the DS-160 confirmation

    7- 2 5*5 photos

    Am I right ?

And regarding the translation, have you checked that

  9. So they never sent to you the email with the list of things I just sent to you?

Well you send them exactly what is listed in my last post. When my fiancé and I first got the email had a problem with the cgi slip they mention so I emailed them sooooo many times and I finally received the email you posted. And my fiancé sent them everything in through Aramax and when they finally received it we were able to pay the fee and schedule in appointment. It took us a months for them to get back to us with the email you posted.

I can imagine how long does it take to get something from them.

But I need to ask you something here first of all I didn't do the medical test so far,so shall I do it and then send it to them or just send copies?

And I assume that I should translate the police/army/birth certificates?and if yes where I suppose to do that ?

  10. You should have gotten an email that stated these steps and list of things needed:

    1. Photocopy of passport (the original to be submitted on the appointment date)

    2. Photocopy of birth certificate

    3. A copy of your divorce certificate (If previously married and divorced)

    4. Police certificate from your country of nationality if you are 16 years old or older

    5. Police certificate if you lived in a different country for more than 12 months and you were 16 years or older at that time.

    6. An Affidavit of Support (Form I-134) signed by the Petitioner.

    7. Petitioners most recent year of federal income taxes (form 1040 only). Please also bring the most recent W2 form and a job letter indicating current salary and length of employment

    8. Medical exam for applicant as attached, medical examination report should be submitted on the day of the visa interview. Applicants are advised to schedule their medical examination 3weeks prior to the date of their visa interview.

    9. Applications: DS-160 application online application form: https://ceac.state.gov/genniv/, please print the confirmation page and send it along with the documents.

    10. 2 photos face view photos with a white background for the applicant-(5*5) Passport size with white Background (no modifications or touch ups permitted)

    ..................

Yeah I suppose but what happened to us is really awkward as I've got this mail as a response of my several mails about my packet 3 inquiry's mails.

I i don't know if you saw my previous post but our case is ready since 19/09 and since that day I've never heard anything from the embassy like y'all.

So what do you think I should send to them?

  11. My dear VJ fellows,

Well after 71 days of calling, sending mails and waiting for the Packet 3 from the embassy I've got a vague mail today from the embassy stating the bellow.

" You can send us all the documents by Aramex without the payment slip and after we review them, we will upload the case to our system and then we will forward you the instructions on how to schedule your appointment.

    Regards,

    Consular Staff

    Official

    UNCLASSIFIED

Once I've got the mail i felt like I'm Benjamin Gates in National Treasure getting a clue after a clue :) .

So is anyone have an idea about which documents shall i send to them? as I'm so confused and i need to avoid any missing documents which might lead for anther delay.

    Thanks in advance

  12. Hello my VJ fellows.

I wanna share our problem with you and hopefully you can help me tho.

Well we submitted our K1 case with an agency located in Las Vegas,NV on 29/06 and we've got the NOA1 at 05/07 and then the NOA2 at 23/08 and then the NVC sent a letter to my fiancée on 19/09 stated that they received our approved I-129F from the USCIS and then they will forward it to the American embassy here in Cairo and that it might take several weeks,we were so happy and excited that our journey is almost done and we will be able to be together very soon as we planned before.

We waited for 2 weeks and then contacted our agency to inquire about our case and they said that it might take up to 2 month, we started to be worried and frustrated, then after two month i checked our case status on CEAC and i found that its Ready since 26/09 so i submitted my DS-160 and I've got the online confirmation tho but i didn't get anything from the embassy so far, meanwhile I've receiving notifications daily as new couples got their interviews or visas however we were either having the same timeline or they they applied after us.

Then we started to try find out whats really going on :

1- tried to call the hotline 35311460 -16872 - 090070600 and they said that they are only concerned with the non immigrants visas and the can't help me tho and gave me an email to contact the embassy.

2- I've sent almost 6 emails at cairoiv@state.gov and I've got nothing so far.

3- my fiancée sent an email to the congressman seeking his help but we are still waiting for response.

4- we even thought that she might come to Cairo as she will be able to enter the embassy and check whats going on.

so we really seek your help to advice us if anyone had had same situation before and what did he/she do, and is there is anyway else to reach the embassy to inquire about our case status ?

    Thanks

  13. Is the k1 visa electronic message sent to the petitioner? Or it is physical envelop sent to beneficiary?

    -------------------------------------

I had the same question, and someone here told me that it suppose to be an email and also you can check this link for further info

    http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/index.php?ctry=Egypt&cty=Cairo.

P.s: my case was sent to the embassy on 19/09 and I didn't hear anything so far,how about you ?

  14. Yeah you are right, but for some reason that I dunno they are dealing with the K visa here as immigrant visa even at the embassy.

So I've already sent like an 4 mails so far and they i found at the website that they usually respond after a week:( so I'm waiting wish me luck

  15. I would call the embassy and ask them if they have your petition. Sometimes depending on the embassy you have to actually go there to pick up the packet, that's how it works in Chile at least. I would call them or have your fiancee call them (whomever is in Egypt) and ask them what your next steps are.

I've tried to call them but I've been informed that the hotline is only for the non immigrant cases and I should contact them through email but they didn't respond so far.

Call the embassy or the NVC themselves.

It's okay appreciate your help, and I'll try to make my fiancée to call the NVC to check with them

    Thanks

  16. It seems like my question wasn't clear as I got 40 views with no response tho.

    So I'll state my questions

1- We've got the letter on 19/09 and I still didn't get any feedback from the embassy however that my status is ready,so is it normal? And what shall I do tho?

2- I'm still confused about that " packet 3" thing is it an e-mail or just package through the mail, and if it's a package do they send it through the regular mail or with shipping companies such Fedex or Aramex? And how can I track it if its already sent or not?
