I just sent all paperworks today to the AZ Lockbox. What will happen next? I have greencard, and I am trying to sponsor my husband (he is currently on his Post Completion OPT from school, will expire in Jan 31, 2017)

What do you think we should do?

welcome to visa journey,, same case my wife is also GC holder in USA, and she would be my sponsor. my priority date is 17th june. 2016, PD is when your case received. then they will send you a NOA1 (Notification Of Action) then it takes almost 4 to 5months for approval, means your case would be transfer to National Visa Centre (NVC).... and so on.. i wish you best of luck, also prayers for all...

Bonbon76, I see that you might actually be the beneficiary and not the petitioner. For the question you posted, the petitioner's name/dob/birth place goes in those boxes. It's asking information about the beneficiary's spouse and children.

You would have to wait for the RFE. Calling wouldn't help.

It could cause a small delay, the RFE needs to be sent to you and then you need to respond. So, that could take some extra time.

in first line i did not mention my spouse name, relationship, dob, and place of birth,

i thought they are asking except present spouse, other husb/wife and children of your relative,,,

hi how much total time you have waited upto interview?

Look at the visa bulletin. Right now the priority date they are on for your category is Nov 15 2014. So you're looking at almost 3 yrs from start of filing your petition until your priority date becomes available.

By the way you have the wrong category listed on your profile. IR1/Cr1 is for spouses of US citizens. Your category is F2A

hi anyone could tell me how much time takes the whole process for CR-1/IR-1 if the petitioner is LPR and case routed to California Service Center, also the marriage date and petition filing date is with 13moths gap..

Finally got around to filing I-130 for my spouse. Received NOA1 text/email on 22nd, got hard copy on 27th. Waiting for NOA2 or RFE.

my case is CR-1 if your spouse is permanent resident, and if your spouse is Citizen then your case would be go in the priority named IR-1

while applying for CR-1 visa when we need a police certificate? and for issuance of police certificate US department give a letter for issuance of police certificate or we have to go to police officers place and ask for certificate? please somebody guide me in this regard, i ll be grateful,

I am ready to send the I-130 form in for a IR1/CR1 spouse visa, she lives in the Philippines, she has a 5 year old son, I listed him on line 17 That asks for the children of my spouse I have a passport photo of him and his birth certificate. Do I add that to my I-130 packet? What other information about him do I need to add if any? Please inform

how much important is affidavit sworn by third party in CR-1 case, if we already have proof of joint account, share proof of residence, ID card with spouse name, marriage certificate..! etc still we may need affidavit sworn by third party?
