We also received a RFE as our initial evidence was about the same as yours. We went online and did a Power of Attorney  (Health) for each other, very quick and simple to do, as we haven't prepared wills yet. We added a selection of mail addressed to both of us and individually at the same address. We put in a couple of doctors bills showing we go to the same doctor and related documents from our health insurance. I made my partner a beneficiary of my retirement fund and included a print off showing that.  We put in travel documents -  etickets, boarding passes etc showing we took trips together.  We went through everything we had and included what we thought was relevant. But just as important was the cover letter explaining why we did not have some of the required evidence - my partner has owned her house for years before she met me and we didn't feel the need or want to go through the expense of putting my name on the title. Same with the utilities, they are long standing accts and we did not see the need to put my name on them. We dont have credit cards because we don't want them - if we cant afford something we don't buy it.  We just explained our situation and the reason why we don't have some evidence honestly. So I would suggest you find any evidence you can, but if you legitimately don't have it explain why in the cover letter. Good luck! Oh, we got approved 3 weeks after submitting our rfe.

Don't worry, you will probably get it very soon. I know (as we all do) what an anxious time it is to go through this whole process but,  with the benefit of hindsight, patience and don't stress too much would be the best advice I could offer. The wheels turn slowly at uscis but they get there eventually.

All the instructions are on the form, but yes if you are in Missouri file it at the California Service Center. Send both amounts in one check.

You have a lot more evidence than we had. Anything that we didn't have I just explained why in a cover letter. So you should be able to address your bank statements issue with the cover letter. I do agree with the other posters about getting your father in law to make an affidavit about your living arrangements. Good luck, it looks like your well prepared!

Hi zmj617, if you go to the Uscis website, click "tools", then click "get automatic updates about your case". You can then sign up and get text and email notifications. Hope that helps 😊

Yes, I got an RFE on May 9, 2017. Sent it in on June 26 and today received an email notification that my card was being produced. I guess that means it was approved. My case also processed at VSC. Good luck, hope you hear something soon!

Received biometrics notice today. Appointment on 6/15/2016. Could somebody please update the spreadsheet for me, my laptop is on the blink and I can't work out how to do it on my phone. Thanks heaps.

VSC finally cashed cheque today, so 16 days after package received. Signs of movement finally!

Hi, this is my first post, so apologies if posted in the wrong place.

My I-751 was received at VSC on 5/2/2016, according to the stamp on the return receipt. As of today, 5/13/2016, the cheque still hasn't been cashed. Is this normal? If not, how do I find out what's causing the delay?
