Just jumping into the convo here. Applied at the beginning of July. They notified me on Aug 10 that they’re scheduling a biometrics appointment. the appointment date was Aug 28. Went to biometrics and now case status is ‘Case is being actively reviewed by USCIS.’ Now just waiting for interview to get scheduled. Estimated time is March 2021, changed from January.

This is what I’m finding on the Moroccan consulate site. Do I have to do this before I can register at the consulate and renew my passport?
"The family Book or “Livret d’Etat Civil” has to be issued at the place of birth of the father. A money order of $18.45 payable to the Consulate of Morocco to cover the fee for Wakala & certified documents. If you were born in the USA it will be issued by this Consulate General othrwise, please send the following documents to someone in your place of birth along with a certified power of attorney (please download wakala below) to get you one. You need to send him/her the following documents that should be certified by this Consulate prior to sending them:
- Moroccan or Islamic Marriage certificate.
- Birth certificates of both parents.
- Copy of CIN of both parents
- 1 Passeport photos of the Father
- Fees for returning your mail are not included in the fees above. To ensure the reception of your document, please include a prepaid express mail or priority mail envelope obtained from the post office. Please note that this is the only mailing method accepted. Thank you."

consular card number is passport number (upper right )/your will not keep the same number when renewed
family book number is lower right
send these and return overnight envelope
all goes to the embassy and onto Morocco and back to embassy
they ail the new and old one back to you in the envelope you provide (says expediate mail -overnight by US standards)
Hmm, I’m not finding the family book number on passport..

I need to renew my Moroccan passport through the Moroccan Consulate in NYC. I’m a bit confused on the process/how to fill out paperwork. Anyone who’s done it willing to help me out, specifically with the consulate registration form?
Consular Card Number?
Family Book Number?
Thank you!

Update: This was the approval. Greencard was issued on Sept 17, 2016. Doing the removal of conditions now.

Filed March 21. Green Card in hand today. ?

We talked to tier 2 today and asked when our case was transferred to the AAO office. She put us on hold for a few minutes and said the update she sees is the case was approved and we should get the card within 4 weeks. I asked about it saying it's "sent to the appropriate appellate office" and she seemed confused by this info and said the card is in production and we should get it within 4 weeks. I'm not sure where we're at.

Thanks for the info. Can someone who has been through this tell me their experiences and how long does it typically take for the final decision?
-
Our status changed to this today. Does this mean our approval is not official yet? Can anyone shed some light?
Case Approval Was Certified By USCIS
"On September 18, 2016, we certified the approval of your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status, Receipt Number MSCxxxxxxxxxx, and sent it to the appropriate appellate office. That office will send you a final decision. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address."

March 21 2016- mailed AoS
April 20- Biometrics, I-485 status changed to RFE
July 8- Returned RFE
July 18- AP and EAD approved
September 17- New Card Is Being Produced, I-485
Happy Day!

I hear ya. St Paul is our office. I'm wondering if the RFE put us back to the starting point when we got it sent back in July.
-
Again, any advice for us? We filed end of March, returned RFE July 8. AP and EAD approved July 18. AOS hasn't been updated since returned RFE. Should we try contacting USCIS or continue impatiently waiting? Does an infopass help speed up the process?
-
We filed March 21
RFE April 20, same day as Bio
Returned RFE July 8
EAD and AP approved July 18
Now nothing. Should we try and talk to tier 2, request an infopass or continue waiting? Any advice?

I've read a lot of people have been getting approved but the USCIS site does not update. They find out with a letter in the mail. I'm just curious, could there be a bug on the site? How many has this happened to?

PaddyGirl, we should stay in touch. My husband and I are also mid-March filers (March 11 PD) with St. Paul as our local USCIS office. According to the online processing times, it does look like we're in for a 7+ month wait under "normal" processing times. Le sigh. Our online status has been stuck at "your fingerprint fee has been received" since early April...but I've heard that several others who had that status for several months received their GCs in the mail without interview. Fingers crossed...
Our local is also St Paul. We filed in March, RFE end of April, returned RFE July 8. Now we're stuck on "Response to USCIS' RFE was Received". Hopefully we all start hearing something soon! Best of luck!
-
Wow. I'm sorry you're waiting so long. Have you contacted them to see what the hold up is?
-
Any guesstimate on how long it should take for approval after returning RFE for I485? It was returned July 8 and EAD and Advanced Parole were approved on July 21st. I know every case is different. Just want to hear how long people have been waiting. Thanks!
-
We returned the RFE and so far he's been approved for travel and employment. No updates on the I-485.

Thank you! I added it to my individual income, then provided the order of support, and payment history. Thanks ?
-
Child support does count, it says so in the instructions, page 7, part 6. My income apart from child support meets the requirements for all 3 in my household, but I would like to provide all of my income and asked where I would put that, if you do know. Thanks
-
Just as the topic title states, where do I enter the income from child support I receive on the I-864 Form? Do I put it under "income you are using from another person who was counted in your household size"? If I did that then do I have to fill out Form I-864A for my daughter? Please help ASAP. Thanks!

My estimated completion time is still saying March 2021 and my interview is in 6 weeks. I don’t think that’s very reliable. I bet you all start seeing your scheduled interview times soon.
