Hi,
It seems that most of you have already done. Now when you have a number of NVC you will to do medical exam. You must also have birth certificate, certificate of police and form I-134 from fiance. That's all. Ah ! You should receive from your Embassy inforamtion about that. Good luck.

Thanks so much. Am afraid that our petition gets stuck there and my fiance has to leave soon.
-
Oh really? I have got Google hangouts and Skype too. Thanks so much for advice
-
Ah see, so then I try call to them. Am also not in US but I hope it cost not much. Thank you very much.
-
Thanks, for your answer. Do you know I can call to them, if am not a petitioner?

Hello,
Does anyone know National Visa Center is sent an email saying that they got petitions, and gave the number or sent to Embassy? Thanks for aswer.

Hey,
Does anyone know the interview at the Embassy for visa K-1 I have to have form I-134 or I-864? Thanks for answer.
-
A student visa is not that simple. Especially with a parent, who recently has immigrated to the US.
The OP mentioned they are already at the Embassy stage. A K2's birthday is in December. So, they have plenty of time to be done with K1/K2 process and enter the US BEFORE a K2 turns 21.
Besides, Kiev usually has "the next day availability" for both, medical and interview. So, they could be done within next 2-4 weeks..
I know it's not the same but better this way as nothing. Yes you right until December they have plenty of time.

This may be the wrong place to post but I am curious about a technical detail. My fiancée and I are at the embassy stage(waiting on the papers to get there) Her son is coming with her. However he will be 21 soon, he was 20 when we started the process but I am wondering if we do not finish everything by the time he turns 21 will that affect his entering the country
Thanks
Don't worry you can also try a studend's visa for him.

Maybe just call to your fianance ambassy and ask what going on. They should give you a reason why did it.

Be sure you go the dating website "terms and condition" and print out a copy that shows this is not a marriage broker. This is very important cause from reading around VJ, some people got an RFE to prove that the dating website is not a marriage broker.
It was a year and a half ago. Already a long time we do not have any account there. How then proof that?

Hi,
I and my fiance met by a dating site. Does anyone know, enough to give only what is it, am mean names dating side or USCIS need to give a proof? I will be grateful for information

There is still a lot of February filers waiting... and many of those approved waited 80-100 days for NOA2..
Yes right, waiting filers from February but they also approved already from 25 March. Only patient wait. Good luck.

Yes we will relocation to US with K-1 me and K-2 my kids. But right I should ask at school what we need. And am not sure but proof of residency also I need to other like insurance or driving license.
-
" Proof of Residency - Proof of residency will need to be sent or delivered to ..." I found it on a school web side. I don't know how proof of residency? I guess need some document, but what is it?
-
Hello all,
Does anyone know -proof of residence what is it? Filled in a form? I read thatfor form I-94 or the school needed. Thanks for response.
-
Yes it's long process. We received NOA1 14 March and still waiting for NOA2 but I saw that part petitions from February was approved already. People wait 2-3 months. I know is hard to wait but we have to be patient, that's all. Good luck
-
It's possible. It's also not possible.
Please understand that 5 months is the standard processing time that the USCIS claims routinely. They claimed this when one service center was taking a year, and they claimed this when another service center was taking a few days to a few weeks.
They still claim it when petitions take a couple of months.
No one can tell you how long it will take to get to NOA2, merely a guess of a few months is a possibility.
Yes right, I did reconnaissance between those persons which have already received NOA2 and statistically waiting time is 2 up 3 months. We received NOA1 in 14th March and yes I know is so hard to wait

I think this is a good idea. His family lives on the west coast and I'm on the opposite side so he has no direct family near me but if we have to do a hotel then we will. I really don't think it will take long for everyone to feel comfortable. My children and him already have a great time talking and laughing on the phone/Skype. He is very involved in our day to day routines and activities. He even skypes in for the kid's sports activities. Saying all of that to say they already have a good foundation and everyone is comfortable from conversations I've had with each separately.
We spent a holiday, together with the children in my country. Pretty cool time and nice merorys for kids too.

Thanks every one for answers. I'm trying to do for self the average waiting time. I need to plan a lot of things- like other I guess. I know that statistics is one thing and life is another. CSC (there is our case) gives the time five months, however, I observe the period that the process takes very little time and period when extended.

Thanks I mean from where the data are derived. All VJ timelines are estimates only, so do not base your petition on the dates showing. There are many other applicants outside of VJ jut to keep that in mind. But from what I have noticed from Jan, Feb filers, its taking an average of 60 to 90 days from NOA1 to have the petition approved and this is not including RFE if any.
-
Hi all,
I wonder on what basis is defined processing time for K-1 and how do you know which day petitions are just made, open? And what about statistic? There are statistics based on what they write registered people here? I'm trying to count how many petition was in February, and froem 01 to 15 March ( my fiance received NOA1 14 March) and how much falls a day. My results lean exclusively on the information contained here, hence my questions. I do not know how much time on average is spent on a K-1 petition. I'll be grateful for an honest answer.
