I am in same situation,  here is the loophole getting one even in your own name. Use the passport in your maiden name and get a bill in your maiden name to your US address open the account in your maiden name just to get the Dam thing open, then next day go back with all ID marriage certificate and they have to change it!!!!!! It's all ridiculous I know 

I would be careful with this lawyer, they are so quick to take your money from you, wet signatures overload them with more information needed, better to have more than less!!!!  

Sponsors household size!! Is it how many people live in the house with you or how many people live there that are dependants ??? Any info would be appreciated, thank you

Hi if anybody could help me on this would be great, Our CEAC status show our visas have been issued, My K1 visa has a tracking number next to my name but on my daughters name who has been issued the K2 doesnt have one next to hers. I have to collect from the DX depot, do you think the passports will be together in the same package or do they normally come separately? I just dont want to pay a fortune in taxis to get there to receive mine only

It is confusing!!!! Had my interview August 30th received 221g for additional papers from joint sponsor! They have kept our passports! The very next day CEAC changed from ready to AP. submitted documents 4th october, received 5th october at the London embassy and today CEAC says READY, any thoughts on this ????

thanks everyone, booked all of this quite a while ago and obviously dont need to hand notice in for work until 4 weeks before. So might as well be pessimistic that I WILL have to loose out, as long as I get to be with the man I love eventually thats all I care about. So on with the struggle , to be continued

Hi everyone had my interview on 30th August was given the 221 g form requesting more info on the joint sponsor. It should get there tuesday next week, does anyone know what kind of timeframe Im looking at ? I have already booked two one way flights for myself and daughter flying to US on the 24th october and have my wedding booked for october 31st with the hotel. It will be a dam shame if I have to cancel it all out as its all non refundable or cant change name on tickets even if I had to sell them, I guess the worst would happen is loose all the money and rebook everything. Total chaos though, not even having time to hand in notice to work, or my daughters high school, This has all been a frustrating process indeed but we keep moving along, just wondering if anyone is experiencing this at all

Or will the one be sufficient with my fiancés wet signature!!! I'm little unsure regarding this, as we will be arriving to the US together on our K1 K2 visa, any info would be appreciated

She can start school immediately, but she could not travel home for a while, until AP.

My K1 visa interview is coming up at the end of August, and Im already thinking that upon arrival into the US and after marriage Im supposed to apply for AOS and same time EAD which could take up to 3 months before I have permission to work, but Im wondering does that apply for my 14 year old daughter too? Does she have to wait up to 3 months before I can enroll her into a school??? Im trying to prepare the best I can

After receiving my NOA2 on June 7th and getting my Nvc case number, I booked my medical for the end of this week, and just spent hours on my pc and printer filling in DS160 paying Mrv fee and booked my interview for the end of August (although there were many earlier ones) just to absolutely make sure I have ample time for my paperwork!!!! Whoop whoop so happy to get even all that out of the way! Headache has gone!! Now I deserve a nice cup of coffee

Hi everyone my medical is booked next Friday, got Nvc number even though not arrived at embassy in London, now can you tell me step by step fill in DS160 ( how do I pay for visa fee and do I do that first before booking interview, I just want to get the whole thing out of the way done with so I can relax finally, so really would appreciate a simple step by step to do list, thank you

I have done exactly the same as you received Nvc number this morning by calling Usa and booked medical reading the email saying need confirmation email from embassy, hope it will be ok booked my medical for July 15 afternoon, hope I don't need to pay a fee and reschedule, I'm impatient like everyone else

Hi received NOA2 on June 7th, my fiancés tried calling few times from within the US, however I bought skype credit called this morning around 7:10 new Hampshire time pushed option 1 for English then option 7 for all others, rang 3 times and a very nice gentleman picked up and gave me Nvc case number and invoice ID number, and told me a few weeks there before getting sent off, so I'm very happy

Received my NOA2 on June 7th, I actually emailed this morning requesting a case number and my fiancé will try to get through this coming week, I've noticed on the K1 visa trends on timeliness section of this site they are processing NOA2 s dated the 9th June, so we are getting there.

Just curious about when our visas are approved, instead of booking direct flights from UK to Los Angeles one way only which seem to be way more expensive than booking a return flight, would it be a problem entering US

It's very difficult indeed,there's times when it takes its toll, all we have are the long daily skype chats and Facebook messages,we manage to visit each other every few months. It's very upsetting sometimes for us as a couple, and as for the actual immigration process, they are just doing a Dam good job for the sake of love!!!! We all need to stop worrying about that part, all of this process does make me think of all the elder folk back in the day, where there was nothing virtual and their joy was receiving a letter in the post to each other. Can you imagine the joy.
