A great day for my wife and I. Her green card has arrived (and her work authorization too) and we had NO interview. How normal is it to receive a green card with no interview? (She arrived here on a fiance visa).
The green card is good for 2 years. Even though it says "Permanent Resident" on the card, I think the two years means "conditional resident," right?
Also, the work authorization is good for one year only. I did not realize we would have to apply for another work visa in a year. Is that normal?
We did this all ourselves. No help from lawyers. Visa Journey has been a big help. If we can do it, so can you.
I met my fiance (now wife) on Facebook. We were approved with no hassles and we only met in person once. She is now here (from Venezuela) and we are married. Going through the adjustment of status phase now.
