when i went through administrative processing it was to clear some background checking. took a week in my case.

In my case the letter was just an email from the embassy , and it was even forwarded by my wife "Fiancee at the time" i didn't personally recieve a letter nor an email.
so yes print that email , your approval notice from USCIS "case approved and forwarded to NVC" and NVC " case approved and forwarded to embassy".

look , i have went through the same problem , and what solved it for me was clearing my DNS cache.
