Just saw an announcement thats USCIS finally finished the data entry process for this year, and NOAs are getting sent out. I juat got mine after almost 2 month and probably soon the website updates should be functional with the data base up to date.

i think the choice should be K1 visa , not immigrant?

are you sure it asks you for DS160? and not DS260?

but K1 visa holder has to get married within 90 days then adjust status.

your EAD will be based on your marriage based AOS.

so without the AOS application your have no bases to file for EAD as a K1 visa holder?

i didn't get my packet 3 personally , my spouse received and forwarded it to me. but in case you didn't know.

packet 3 from AB Embassy is an email not a mailed package or anything.

go ahead and schedule your medical exam appointment then an interview. should allow you since you have a case number.

part of the process is sharing all your Visa's and visited countries. so it doesn't matter which passport you use. as long as the entry stamp is valid on a valid passport "by valid i mean legit"

if you have been calling Via Skype , you can always submit the call duration logs.

That's alright , give it up to a month , then start clearing your browser cookies and cache every now and then until you receive an update.

The line of questions will depend on your case , and how convinced was USCIS and the CO.

my thoughts to you is , be aware of your own case , no one , not the USCIS or the CO know your case better than you do , always remember that , it's an advantage.

with that being said , know what your redflags are "If Any" , and be prepared to address them with evidence if you can. if none , then be confident and relaxed. it should be simple

ok that's great , i can help you with the physician's list , but they do ask for the embassy letter at the appointment.

might not ask for it during the reservation. but the doctor did ask for a copy of it during the appointment.

tnx. how many weeks does it usually take? We got our nvc letter today in my Fiance mail.

In my case it took about 4 weeks before i have heard from the embassy

So you we really need to wait for this embassy letter? I have scheduled my interview on Sept18. Will they ask me to present this? Thanks

i don't see scheduling an interview as the problem. you can keep the appointment , question is

will you get the mail in time for you to be able to prepare the paperwork required and schedule /have physical exam and get the results in time for your Sept 18th appointment?

The NVC letter should state the case has been received from USCIS and will be forwarded to the US embassy in Abu Dhabi.

one your case file is delivered, the US embassy will either email you or your fiance an instructions page and panel physicians page.

if you will be travelling with Her , then add yourself.

that's a good idea , but you have said it yourself , SNN says valid for work only with DHS authorization , hence why we apply for an EAD card .

i believe it depends on the state lows. you should call your state DMV to check.

i personally am driving in AZ with an International Drivers License , my UAE license was sufficient too but my IDL had lower insurance rate.

as for auto insurance , if you drive your bride to be's care , she can add you as a driver on the insurance , premiums will go up a bit , but ain't so bad.

no he can't work without EAD. and don't worry , EAD and AP takes a few weeks , AOS interview , i have had mine showing as scheduled for an interview for 3 month now

well , you were not asked for any additional info . so you will sit back and wait until your case status updates , usually it's info verification and background checks.

i went through AP myself. but i was told it might need a week , and it took exactly a week.

I wouldn't worry , interview still got some time.
