  1. In my DS260 online application in CEAC, under "IV Fee" and "Civic documents" it says "N/A"

I also read a blog by a Filipina who had her case expedited as well and didn't have to go through the NVC so in the USEM she paid $230.. I wanna check if the fee is still the same for anyone else who had the same case coz I wanna make sure I bring enough money on that day.

  2. It might be case to case basis but since I just had my medical exam I'll share my experience. Although I did DCF so it might be a little different, I don't know. For vaccines.. I had the basics when I was a child but my mom wasn't able to keep a record. So when I went for my immunization interview for the medical exam, the doctor said that they'll give me the vaccines for what's required even though I already had some of those before according to my mom, coz I don't have my record with me and that will serve like my first record of vaccination that I'll present at the interview. Coz what's important is that you have the record to show you had it.

  3. hi everyone! just wondering if anyone else experienced the same thing and hopefully get some advice..

I had my first day of medical exam at SLEC last May5.. everything went fine. I noticed they were constantly asking about your first and last period in every step! Knowing how forgetful I am.. I just estimated the dates. Anyways, during the immunization interview the doctor said they're not gonna give me the vaccinations yet until they prove I am not pregnant (coz according to the dates I gave them I should be having my period now but I still dont have it this month, and they also said that I was fertile during the last date I had sexual contact.. yup they ask about it too and the frequency).. There's a very small chance I'll be pregnant coz my husband and I are not actively planning to have kids yet and whenever we have sex we've always used protection. The doctor said the only form of contraception they accept is pills, not condoms or anything else.

So they told me to come back once I get my period, instead of the next day, and then they'll give me a pregnancy test, if it's negative then I'll get vaccinated. Or if I still dont have my period.. a week after and they would test me as well.

Has anyone experienced the same thing? coz I'm getting anxious and I need some advice.. I keep testing at home and it's negative. But, in the slightest chance I get pregnant...of course they won't give me the immunizations coz it's contraindicated.. how could that possibly affect my visa process?

  4. coz in my case.. we filed for the petition first before I could have my name on passport changed. I don't have any IDs with my married name on it. I had my PRC ID updated to have my married name on it but it wouldn't be released until July. My NBI clearance would be with my married name. I tried to sched to renew my passport at DFA just to have my name changed on it to use my married name, but the earliest sched available is July.. I already scheduled for the CFO seminar which would be May. But the thing is, our petition already got approved and we're now just waiting for the case number.... I just wonder if its gonna delay my visa process, if say, they ask me to have my passport changed to married name first..

  5. Hi! I just wanna ask.. should I need to update my status to married and have my name changed on my passport before I could proceed with the visa processing? Our petition just got approved today but we're still waiting for the packet of forms.. I just wanna know if you did any changes with your passport before proceeding with scheduling your interview etc.?
