Hello!
So I just sent my I-130 petition for my husband but I'm confused with something, I heard and read that once I-130 got approved I would get a I-797 receipt and that with that I could file for a I-129F petition for my husband so he can come faster to the US and start working while we wait for the whole process to end, a couple of days ago I started reading about IR/CR-1 Visa (which I had never heard about before) and that in a way is better than filing for K3. Can someone enlighten me with this topic and which one would you recomend for me to go with and If I should even try or just wait the process as is.
Thanks!

Hi
I'm confused now (sorry) I just sent form I-130 for my husband '(he's in El Salvador) and I was planning on applying for K3 to get him here sooner since our whole family is apart and so just can't take this separation any longer, I was told that this visa will allow him to come and live here and he could start working with no problems while we wait for the process to end, is this not true ( I know I have to wait for a notification to apply for that visa)
What's next?

Hi everyone
I sent my package on 04/11 got a notification that was received from USPS on the 15th and today I got an email that says: Your case has been accepted and routed to the USCIS Nebraska Service Center for processing. Within 7-10 days by standard mail you will receive your official Receipt Notice (Form I-797) with your Receipt Number LIN##$$$$. With the official Receipt Notice (Form I-797) you may visit www.uscis.gov where you can check the status of your case using My Case Status. We suggest you wait until you have received your Form I-797 before checking My Case Status.
So I was wondering if this means that all the documents that I submitted where fine, what's next?
Please help
Thanks
