I finally got my permit today!!!! 4 months later!

See, they took even less than they did with all of us!! Congrats:) I called the ss office and was able to obtain my ss number through the phone, the card itself will be getting in the mail within the next couple days. Anywas I only needed the number urgently to apply for advanced parole.

Hello, how long did it take uscis to approve your AP application?

I totally understand how you feel, you waited a long time already just hang in there and wait a lil more. And really??? It's been 20 days since I applied for mine and i still haven't got anything, I will give them a call tomorrow since I called today and it was already closed. I guess it depends on which office you go to.

Now and on my elis account it says that my green card was mailed to me. Weird, but I had read that some people got that weird status too. So I guess they just mailed my permit! Even though on the case tracker it says that I am approved instead of my card was being produced like it said it yesterday.

That's so weird but it doesn't surprise me at all, it seems like they don't really care much about the website or our feelings lol but I hope you get it soon, let us know when you do. I wanted to ask you something, when you applied for your social.. how long did it take from the time you went to the office until you got it in the mail????

Well I haven't gotten mine yet. Does it say once it's done being produced? Do they tell you that it was mailed to you? Some people received a tracking number. On my elis account it still says my i765 is in process but on my case status it does say that my card was starting to be produced on the 16...

You should be getting it soon and no that thing updated afterI had already gotten the card in the mail, the day after I got it, it changed to your card has been mailed with tracking number and all. But that was on the uscis website not on my ellis account, I was only able to log in once then after that it never worked.

De nada and it took aprox 10 days , they began producing aug 26 and I got it in the mail on sep 6

Guess what? Yesterday morning I checked my case status and it says that my card is being produced!!!! I cannot believe it, I just had my biometricts taken this past tuesday! Now, on my elis account it still says in process. I guess they haven't updated it yet. I'm really happy since my permit expires on the 25th of this month.

Wow... that was fast!!! See they made you wait for bios but approved it very quick! That's good, happy for you???? I believe you were the only one on this thread that had yet to be approved. Now we've all been approved, time to make the best of it.. Good luck in everything you do guys

They finished producing my card Wednesday hopefully I get it next week. ?

Thank you!!! I don't know, I mean I just got my biometricts taken yesterday...I guess they had too much time to review my applications haha but the biometricts took way too long. We will see, I will keep you posted!

Hey guys, I had my biometrics app. yesterday. I just checked my uscis account and it says that my 821D has been approved...!!! I wonder how long it would take for the other one to get approved too:O but that's great news!

I was the same, I found out they approved it on a friday and I noticed the second number hadn't changed so I began worrying, that whole weekend I was very stressed until sunday night when I checked and it had changed already, I felt relieved. Don't worry! Enjoy your weekend:)

On the uscis website it said they began producing mine on aug 26 and it arrived on tuesday sept 6, note that it was a holiday in between So yours may take a lil less, give it like ten days from the day it says they began producing it.

Hello I've been reading this thread because I have the same problem. I sent my application April 11th went and took my bios may 3rd and I just got approved today for 1821D September 8th. But my other one the work permit still says my bio appointment was scheduled.

Don't worry it will take another 2 to 3 days for that one to change! Check again on sunday night and you'll see it was approved as well?

Is anyone awaiting approval through the California Service Center? My application was received on April 12, but it's still in process

Give it another 3 weeks, they received mine march 22 and it was approved two weeks ago and it was in CA sc as well.

Nancita I didn't know it was your first time doing it. The good thing is that you only apply for a ss card once.

Mine was in California and it was also processed "electronically", I don't think you should worry, you should read this entire thread and you'll see that the majority of us got approved within five months.

I hope so it really sucks the thing I don't get is that I know some people who have done theirs after I did mine and they have already received their renewal

Maybe those people's cases were processed at a different service center, not all of them take the same amount of time to process applications. I'm almost sure they will approve yours within the next couple days, just be patient. I know is hard, I would worry a lot too but at the end everything came out good. They received my application on March 22, and approved it on Aug 26 so I think is just a matter of days until they approve yours.

USCIS is a little behind on all processes, I believe everyone's trying to fix their status just in case Trump becomes president lol but don't worry, they're catching up:) and I will as soon as it's in my hands:)))

Awesome! And it's taking up to five months, that's how long it took for the people on this thread that were renewing, unless the terminated status had to do something with the delay. I hope they approve yours sooner than soon:)

Just a quick update, her case was approved and she received the letter of approval yesterday August 29th and when i checked online her card was sent for production on August 27th

I hope everyone else receives their approval soon.

I also received my approval notice yesterday and my card went into production aug 26 hehe

Don't worry is completely normal, I had my bios on may 3 and it didn't change until the day of my approval which was last friday aug 26, from bios it changes to: my card is being produced... Be patient!!!

Ok so now the second number says they began producing my card on aug 26 which was last friday yayy!!!! By when should I be receiving my card?! Does anyone know?! I'm extremely happy I cannot explain to you guys, I can't wait to take advantage of that ssn, I will finally have access to financial aid for college!!! I'm so so so happy! I just thought I'd share my happines with you all.
