Depends on how far out the interview ends up happening. You'll just have to wait and see. If its just a few months a new items may not be necessary. You'll know more after you get NOA2

can someone explain what lawyer says? I-134 Affidavit of Support it's a must or not? maybe it's a must because K1 visa still leading to immigrant status? then whats the best time to fill it out?

The attorney i went to see told me that the affidavit that is summited (I-134) is a legal non-binding one. Even though you agreeing to support the person you want to sponsor you will not be forced or anything. BUT once they enter you have to fill out another affidavit ( I-864) during the AOS, so keep in mind that this one is legally binding. **This is what I was told but i am not 100% sure**

I have also sent in my I-129F packet and just received an email that it was signed for this morning !

I hope i'm not asking a question that has already been asked and answered but I have searched and have not been able to find one yet. So i had some help putting my whole I-129F packet together by an attorney ( I have no contact with anymore)

Once finished this is what my packet included:

*I-129F form

*(2) G-325A (petitioner and beneficiary's)

*G-1145)

*I-134

*letters of support

*employer letter

*tax transcripts for the past 3 years. (I now know have read on this site, that these and a couple of more items that we summited were only required during the interview stage)

*recent paystub

*(2) 2x2 passport photos from each of us

*declaration letter from both of us (his had a translation)

*letters of intent from both of us with translations)

*proof of ongoing relationship( chats and pictures)

*bio page from my passport

*birth certificate from both of us

*fiances police letter

It was a nicely organized and sent out, I have read that during the interview we are to provide the I-134 along with its supporting documentation and a couple other item we have already sent them in our I-129F packet so since my Fiance has to take some of the info to his interview does that mean I have to redo the I-134 form, letters of intent and have everyone rewrite their support letter along with the translations, ask my employer for another letter?

Can we just use the info that we have already sent them? (I do have copies of the packet I sent) We are also aware that certain documents have expiration dates like the police letter and that we must also update the passport pics so we know that for his interview we must have updated versions but if we could also avoid having to redo most of what we have already sent them that would be easier and faster. please advise

No go ahead and send the Package the passport is not needed before later in the process and you won't get to that step before that time in May anyway...

Hello I have a question regaurding the 129f packet.. I know that he is going to require a passport to travel and he has made his appointment but we want to start the packet and get it going however his appointment is not until May 5 !

Do we have to wait to get his passport and then send out the 129f packet or can we send it out since we almost have everything else in place.

Please advice. We would love to not have to wait another month. After May 5 we only have to wait a couple days at most to get the passport.

Hello everyone! I'm having trouble finishing up my form too. Since my fiancee doesnt understand english i was filling it out for him as we discussed it but when i get get to the bottom i notice that durig the download the form always appears have a dont forget to sign portion in the signature box. Its only there when i download it or print it out. How have you all been doing it?

I am about to start the I-129F application and I am already stuck In my fiance's birth certificate under his name it says :Antonio de Jesus ( his first and middle name) but not sure if I include the "de" after Antonio (his first name) or before Jesus ( his middle name) or do I put Antonio de Jesus altogether. I just don't want to mess up and have a bigger issue later on ... PLEASE HELP!!

Hello everyone! I have a question about this DS-160 form. My fiance doesn't know any English so I'm confused as to how he can fill this out. Can the language be changed or is it possible for me to do it for him ?
