Who from CSC has got their RFE and what is the date of your NOA1? Would like to know how far away our is. Our NOA1 is dated 15 March, and we have never had a touch, notice or anything.

I received my notice that the RFE had been sent! You can bet I will be overnighting it to get first in line Anyone else receive a notice?

Our petition was received 15 March at California. CSC is currently processing with dates of 3 Feb.

So will I be waiting 6+ weeks for our RFE?

How would they know that you have filed the petition? My fiance doesn't have any stamp in his passport or any way of immigration knowing that we have filed the petition. Is it riskier once it has been approved? I'm just a little confused as to how they would know that the petition has been filed when your fiance goes through immigration. Please let me know!

Boy I'm glad I read this thread. Considering the latest delays with I-129F processing I have decided for me and my daughter to visit my fiance in the US while waiting for the petition approval.

I never realised there was any potential problem - I mean, why would someone start the K-1 process if they were going to sneak in illegally.

I'm going to get copies of my annual leave approval, mortgage papers, letter to daughter's teacher requesting 2 weeks of homework, copy of return ticket details.

Any other suggestions? Coming from Australia to LA is long and expensive - I would be so mad if I got rejected. And its so hard to be nice to the immigration officials at the best of times - they're soo mean and grumpy!

I'm sorry for the negative responses you received. I was looking to ask a similar question.

My fiance has a domestic violence conviction which was an accusation his kid's mother made when she wanted my fiance and couldn't have him. My guy had their toddler in his arms and the mother was grabbing at the boy's legs - she frequently threatened to stop visitation if she couldn't have her own way. During this struggle - on a main street - my guy gave her a slap on her forearm with an open palm to get her to stop pulling on the kid's legs. He then said he would take the kid for a walk and an icecream and bring him home to her shortly. When he got back to his place 20 mins later the cops were waiting for him as she had called 911 crying kidnapping and battery.

I supported him through his trial and lead up to it, I saw the photos of her so called "injuries" - there were none. I talked to him all through his community service hours and he talked to me every week about his weekly anger management classes.

I find it bizarre that he was ever convicted for this incident. Considering 'justice' is meant to be paramount to the American belief - it was crazy to see this happen.

So although I already know the intimate details of this situation, I'm concerned that some USCIS officer may be able to decide on my behalf whether our relationship should be allowed.

Is anyone aware of what delays above and beyound what the innocent are experiencing??

Lucky you! We filed our application on 15 March, received receipt on 20 March and had nothing since. Never touched How is it possible that you have overtaken me in the process?!!! Starting to get concerned our application has falled off the shelf

And why are all the other service centres forwarding their files to California - California has enough to work with i.e. my file

Eager to get any information I can on this process. The unknown is killing me.
