I think you've to pay the fee while picking passport in I-30 case. Mine was I-29 and I didn't have to pay anything.

I used TCS service cuz FedEx doesn't do domestic services anymore! TCS works just fine too! Or you can go to shaheen complex and send your docs from there via American Express.

thats just the worse case... Also most of the documents were originals and getting documents from Pakistani state departments is hell... so thats why i think it will get pushed out. I hope it doesnt. i hope they find the documents at the embassy. i have TCS tracking showing it was delivered.

Kind of same thing happened with me. In my case Islamabad embassy delayed by one month in sending packet 3.5 to me. Anyway, whenever you see any irregular waiting pattern for your case, never hesitate to email them. Hope they get your docs. I sent mine via TCS too and after 4 days of sending docs I emailed Islamabad embassy to know whether they recieved or not.

Just as an FYI, the 221G form in ISB actually does have a checkbox for not performing the Ruksati

Hi guys, I'm from Pakistan, I have a question, me and my Wife went to University together for four years and then I went to US and got green card, just after a month I came back to marry her so that I could apply for her and get he immigration process going, so we had our "Nikkah" and have been together for a long time but never had the official "Rukhsati", so I'm having doubts that what would happen when during interview my Wife tells that we had the Nikkah but had the Rukhsati later, I mean we will have the Rukhsati and everything before we ever get the interview call, means we will consumate our Marriage before the interview process, so would this create any trouble since we didn't have Rukhsati before filing the petition or would this be alright if we tell them the truth.

It has been 5 to 6 years since we have been in a relationship but only 6 months since our Nikkah and have plans to do Rukhsati as soon as poosible maybe by the end of the year or the beginnig of the 2017. Her visa category is F2A. I would appreciate your feedbacks, experiences and everything that you can tell, thank you so much

This shouldn't be a problem. Make sure that your wife carries a lot of evidence with her in form of photos (the more the better), pictures while talking on Skype, phone history, emails, letters ever written to each other, wedding pics (NOT the edited ones) - if you've sufficient evidence to prove that your relationship is legit, there shouldn't be any problem. Also, answer what they ask ONLY. All the best

That is the thing, my husband's interview time is at 7 am, so when do i get there? if it was 8 sure that would have been fine, but they scheduled us for 7 am

My interview was at 7:00 am too. I was (like many other) there at the embassy at 6:45 am sharp. There is a long line there. So being early is better than being late. All the best.

Everyone is supposed to send to Chicago office right (I meant everyone on K-1 visa is supposed to send there)? My fiancé had her interview on may 31st and she was told by CO she was approved and she will receive her visa in 10 days ... then on may 31st case creation date changed right after interview and changed from immigrant visa to non immigrant visa.. Status went to Ready..no status update until I sent an email the case status changed to AP on June 13th and since then nothing.. I sent another email to consular office asking about my fiancé visa and I received an email from them today saying its still in final review/process and if don't hear anything in 2 weeks - contact them,,,,anyone any input...

Wait for 10 working days. You'll be fine. Once they say that it is approved and you'll recieve in within 10 days, you actually recieve within 10 days.

Hey! I travelled from Karachi and via Qatar airways too. They won't need anything. Except the sealed envelope at the port of entry. That's it.

It asks for the rest of the documents too. Will the embassy send me a mail later asking for documents submission? Also, what kind of mail do they usually send? Electronic?

I've seen petitioners getting the email too. In my case they sent both of us the email. You're now supposed to fill up the form and sent back the required documents. You must proceed further and should not wait for any other email. All the best.

They also tell me to pay 156$ but i have already pay 265$ at the time of my interview! Did you guys also pay 265$ at the time of interview? And do you think i have to pay 165$ again?

No you don't have to pay anything anymore. Somebody mis lead you. I went to pick up my passport yesterday, no body asked me to pay anything.
