    Hi Mrs Virgo,

Everything went well leaving US they didn't check or asked any docs just the usual tickets and passport. But going back to the US you just have to show your Marriage Contract if they asked, pero I don't remember na hinanap yun. I believe GC lang hinanap and passport and good to go. 😁 Pati sa Chicago O'Hare Airport Tix, Passport and GC lang. Bring your MC na lang just in case. 😉

This is simple and quite common, buy the tickets in the name on your passport, make sure you have your marriage certificate with you and when you check in for your return flight to the US, present your GC as authorization to enter the US and if the airline has questions, show them the marriage certificate.  When you enter the US, CBP most likely will not even look at your foreign passport, but if they do, also show them the marriage certificate as they see this quite often.  As to facing further scrutiny at CBP (potential secondary inspection), everyone faces that potential, but my wife traveled multiple times with this situation and was not subject to secondary inspection once, and was only asked to show the marriage certificate one time at an airline check-in back to the US in Beijing.

    Good Luck and Safe Travels!
