    Hello. Looking for some help and guidance. We are at the stage now of booking an appointment at the Kingston Embassy in Jamaica. I get to the calendar to book our K-1 interview appointment and we get an error message saying, system is busy try again later. Is anyone currently trying to book a K-1 interview in Jamaica and have this issue? Or has someone experienced the same issue before? Please help.

    I’m so confused. On the I 129 form are they asking my criminal history or the forgein fiancé ?

    Hello. My fiance was found not guilty 19 years ago in a case in Jamaica. We are about to file k1. I know we need police record at interview, but does he need court documents showing not guilty when we first submit application? We did say he was arrested and found not guilty on application. Since the court case is 19 years old the court is having hard time finding any documents about the case. Does he need court papers to be included in the initial filing? Will they ask for them now or just bring them with us to interview?

    Thanks for ur input. I spoke to an immigration attorney and he said as long as he was found not guilty it will not count against him. We will need to provide court paperwork to embassy to show not guilty

    I’m sorry for lack of details. I am the petitioner . My fiance is in Jamaica. He was charged with assault. Found not guilty when he was 18 years old. He is now 37

    My fiance was arrested in 2006 at 18 years old . He was found not guilty for the assault charge. He was falsly accused. Could be be denied a k1 visa? Can he only get denied if found guilty?
