Hi, do you mind sharing what documents you sent back to them and did they need more evidence of financial commingling? Thanks! I’m in the same boat and I’m preparing my documents to send back to them.

    Sure,

I sent 2016-2018 Taxes, showing we filed together. A copy of both our driver's license showing that we live at the same address. We recently opened a joint bank account, so I sent that with our names on it and an explanation on our finances at the time.

Information from my Job to show my next of kin and my beneficiary (which is him).

    Copy of our insurance cards.

Copy of our lease, and an affidavit from our Landlord

Copy of our car insurance policy, showing both cars are under the same policy.

The letter I sent was basically our cover letter and details on why certain information is missing

Just try to provide as much information as possible, and if there are any holes in that information, try to provide an explanation in a letter. Just to kind of give them an insight on your union.

Great news! My RFE was received by USCIS on 7/9 and website still shows Evidence Received. I was hoping the system was down due to a positive update, but no such luck. Still, will check website and mail religiously..

The website still showing that evidence was received. I also checked the new website and that's showing fingerprints received from last year. It's the app that is showing the update that the card was produced on 7/20.

  3. Hi everyone,

My husband received RFE on 6/20 for more proof on marriage. Sent all the information to them and they received it on 7/10. He received his approval on 7/20. the website was not showing the information, since it was down, but he filed for citizenship and it is showing on the app that his card was produced on 7/20 :) Good luck everyone.

By the way, he has an estimated end date on his Naturalization of 3 months (biometrics already completed)

The infopass process has been closed.

    How do you approach ?

whats the process to approach and get the I-551 stamp ?

you would have to call the 800 number and just explain the situation, your extension letter is expiring and your are worried about your work etc.  they will then take your contact information and someone from your local office will call you to set up an appointment (my husband recently did this).

california here and given biometrics in may 2019 and no reply since then.

extension letter till sep 2019 so like 2 months more.

applied naturalization july first week and got bio metrics appointment in two weeks.

are you sure that we are still in legal status even if extension letter expires ?

If you are unsure, you can take a trip to your local office and request a stamp closer to when the letter expires. That stamp is good for another year and permits you to work and travel.

I just got notified the case was received on 4 march 2018 at local office.   Have filed N400  ( 28 Nov 17) concurrent with I751.  What are the chances that I could get both interviews together with my husband?  any information floating around about the concurrent filings.

Did not know we can do both together. How are you sure they are eligible? I am asking because I am curious. Would love to do this for my husband as well.

So, it would seem that the majority of February filers at Vermont Center have gotten and, already had their biometrics appointment.  So, I think any day now for us.  The average seems to be 7 weeks after NOA date, and letter arrives around 2 weeks to 10 days before your appointment date.

I actually went through Vermont also. Heard they were faster. **fingers crossed**

  8. Hey guys, did my interview today. Got approved! Only thing they asked me for tho was my originals. no copies, no supporting evidence, just the originals. the questions the consular officer asked me were, how long have I known my wife, what's her job, have I ever been to the US, and what date did she enter the US. The worst part was the wait, I got there at 7:30 and left like 11. It seems the numbers they gave you make no difference, as people that came in after me were called before me. This one woman was sent from the front of the line at the entrance for having on make-up and had to rejoin way at the back, she protested and got talked down by one of the securities, more like a threat. they don't play over there, word of advice, be mannerly and humble yourself.

    Congrats!!!

  9. I'm was holding off but I don't think that they will go down until after the middle of August. School in the U.S. will be back in so....maybe??? Petes30, since I am on my phone can it's microscopic tiny...I can't recall where you are flying into...but check southwest (bags fly free), jetblue and spirit. There is another one but I can't recall the name of it off the top of my head. Ugh!! Said part is I have enough miles to get the dang this but I don't want to use them either in case I wanted to book is a little trip later...dang it to heck!

Nay, Picobenz...this was somewhat a calculated move. We just didn't know how the timeframe exactly. We wanted to make sure kids were situated, work contract ended and get some things done on the home he's building.."should've been quicker than that", I guess. Such is life you know. I could probably find a cheap one, in fact I did but it was like a 20hr flight with a layover in Canada...really? Not going to happen...who in their right mind would do that...Its only like a 2hr 45 min flight from there to here...I wouldn't even out my worst enemy through that torture.

I'm flying into nyc. The flight was 206 just last week now it's 606....not gonna happen, they told him he had 3 months to leave. So in the meantime him stay and sort out stuff here and then come...hopefully after the 4th him can come

  10. Has that been the problem, Picobenz? If Petes30 and I knew you were holding your breath all this time, we would have surely been cracking way more jokes! And you know how we can cut up...

You know what's crazy though...how out of all of us, my husband was the first interview date and is the last d*mn one to POE...that must be a long difficult swim for my baby. Just jokes people...guess the tickets are going down and I'm going to to have to bite the bullet!

Nope, hubby ticket went up a whole 400 one way, should've bought it when I just came (I was that sure. Lol). I was gonna buy it still, but he is staying to ensure that the kids are ok when him leave. So staying he will. Hopefully until after the 4th (ticket might be cheaper then)

  11. Congrats ladies...SOOO very excited for you both. Its been a journey for us, right! We've made it as fun as possible.

Bet y'all gone be on the same flight. ???

Hope you've been stalking airfares...they are crazy right now. Sad thing!

You guys have been the absolute best!!! HE knew exactly when we were to start this process so that I could connect with such a wonderful and inspiring group of people.

    Hugs and cyber kisses...

**my hit squad** p.s. even you Picobenz even though you tried to jump ship on us!!!

Aww stop it!! Sounds like u all leaving the nest.
