  1. I didn't have wet signatures either (from my fiance) so we might be in the same boat but I'm not stressing. Obviously I want him to get here asap but if I have to wait an extra month I just look at it as that's one more month to save money for us. I do wonder though, doesn't the Texas lockbox scan the documents over to CSC? If so how would they be able to tell if it's a wet signature or not? I know for the interview you can tell since it's person to person so I'll definitely be sending the wet signature via FedEx.

If they scan everything at the texas lock box then we shouldnt have to worry haha. But if they mail it then there may be a problem. Idk though my fiance has a friend that did the same thing and she got accepted. Maybe we'll get lucky. I dont mind the one month wait either. More money wouldnt be a problem at all. If my petition gets accepted then im gonna fed ex all the paperwork for the next step also.

  2. You only filed last month, the petition process can take upwards of 5 months, you could relax for a bit, but I know you don't want to ;) ...

Follow the embassy instructions for what is required. There is a link to the instructions letter from the link below in my signature, follow the flashing arrow!

Well my expected date is the end of this month or beginning of next month. I just want to be prepared for it and I want to learn all I can before I get approved or get an RFE. Thanks for the links.

  3. What i did was i had my fiance scan her g325a with the signature. She did the same with the letter of intent to marry but she got it notorized. I ended up printing them out and sent that in. Still waiting for a reply from CSC. My fiance has a friend that did the same exact thing and she got her visa in december. Ive been looking online and i realize that i just gambled getting an RFE.

  4. The receipt from the gift purchase would be better than the WU money receipt to her sister. That said, if you send her packages, saving the UPS/USPS/Cargo Company receipts are good secondary evidence as well.

Ahh okay ill ask her sister if she still has the reciept

  5. Qualifying for the 129F petition is easy for most, so you should be fine. However, from this point on, save everything. Every text, every chat, every e-mail, every gift receipt, every airplane ticket, everything regarding your relationship. You will need this evidence in the next stage to prove the validity of your relationship. Good luck!

Yep i have all my facebook messages and whatsapp call history, western union reciepts from when i send her money. I have a question though. I send money to my fiances sister sometimes so that she can buy my fiance a surprise gift. Could i also use those reciepts?

  6. I mailed my i-129F exactly one month after my first online communication with my fiancee. During that month, I visited her and spent most of two weeks with her. We're planning to have the interview on about March 21, which will be less than 4 months after first contact. USCIS had no problem and I don't anticipate any problem at the interview.

Thats encouraging to hear. Ive met my fiance online and talked to her for 3 months before going to see her. Ive known her for about 5 months now and weve been engaged for exactly 2 months. Im sure ill get approved or at the very least an rfe.

  7. Was that really necessary?

Haha im guessing im the OP. Its fine some people are just like that. My fault for using the incorrect terminology. I just spelled it that way to imply all filipino citizens. But then againi probably sould have just said filipino haha. Please excuse me for my mistake. I myself am filipino so its pretty funny.

  8. Based on what you provided, it should be sufficient. The stamp on your passport show that you did go to the Philippines and the picture show that you were together. Do you have emails/conversation that talks about the trip between the two of you. It's secondary evidence, but it provides additional proof that you've met.

It is very reassuring to hear you say that. Ive been torturing myself over this for a couple of days. And its already been a month since i sent in my application. To answer your question, yes. Luckly i sent the facebook conversations we had. I screenshotted the last message i sent her before i got on the plane and i sent the message confirming where we were gonna meet when i landed. All together i sent 11 screenshots of our facebook messages and skype chats we had.

  9. The itinerary and bank statements showing you bought the ticket do not prove you met in person. It only proves you bought the tickets, not that you were actually on the plane.

Did you include other proof of meeting?

You need solid proof, such as passport stamps, boarding passes, receipts from Philippines that have date and location printed.

Pictures together, airline tickets, itineraries, tour plans, etc. are not good evidence by themselves, but they can reinforce your primary evidence.

My evidence alltogether is about 9 pictures of us together, amusement park tickets, passport stamp and bio page copies, a reciept from when i changed my USD into PHP, and an arrival card from the flight that was mandatory to fill out. For the amusement park tickets theres a picture of the both of us infront of the entrance with the mascot. I am not sure if its sufficent enough and im a little worried i might get denied. To be honest i didnt find out about this whole process until after i got back to hawaii. Thats why i dont have reciepts from the places we went.
  10. In lieu on the boarding passes, you have your arrival and departure stamp on your passport, you can use that.

With no hiccups you can be done in 3 months, visa in hand. I could have done it but I delay processing intentionally.

Yea i sent a copy of my passport stamps and my BIO page. Im a little afrad though because i dont think i have enough evidence. I never had any reciepts because my uncle pretty much treated us to the hotels and resturants we went to. I also didnt know about this whole process until after i got back to the states. If i knew i would have saved alot more things to use for evidence.

  11. The typhoon was in 2013. That website says they expedited petitions filed BEFORE the typhoon. Its old. Be patient. Everyone is waiting.

Also, the accepted spelling of the nationality of your fiance is "Filipina" (for women) or Filipino (for men or generic), as you can see from the link above. You wrote "Phillipine beneficiaries" above. Not picking on you, but I hope you learn the proper way to refer to her nationality. Filipinos are from the Philippines.
