Ahh okay. Thank youIt can take up to 30 days. Any out of status time will be forgiven for spouses of USCs, so don't worry about that. Just wait and good luck.

It's been 10 days since I sent the application to the Chicago lockbox. My wife's I 94 expires today and I'm afraid she will be out of status. How long does it take for them to recieve that application? They haven't cashed in the check yet and my wife has not gotten any confirmation through text or email.
-
Alright soo how long is the wait time for the EAD?

Is a social security number required for AOS? My wife hasnt gotten one yet because we were waiting till after we are married. I just read that you need to apply for one but what if her i-94 expires in 2 weeks? Can she still get a ssn?

ALL required vaccinations must be marked off on the DS-3025 at the time of the K-1 medical, or you must see a civil surgeon to get them all transcribed onto an I-693, per the instructions, the pinned topic linked here in this thread a few times, the USCIS policies linked here in this thread already, and numerous other posts on this same topic.
Okay thank you. We just went to see a civil surgeon and are just waiting on paperwork later this week. So if we send in my wifes AOS but her ds-94 expires while we wait for an noa, what happens?

What if my fiance couldnt get 2 vaccinations in the philippines, but got them here. Would she still need to go to a civil surgeon? They did her medical and skin test and everything but give her the 2 vaccines because she was on medication. They didnt check the box that says US vaccine requirements complete

Do i need to send the NOA2 original form or will a copy suffice?
Is it required to fill out and send form i-693? She had her medical exam in may this year.
Does my wife need to send her vaccination records with the application?
what are the supporting documents for Forms i-864, i-765 and i-131?

USEM started to NOT ask for the I-134 about 2 years ago, yet it is still listed as required in the embassy instructions letter.
Congrats on being approved!!
Did your fiancee complete CFO yet?
No she didnt do it yet. Im gonna schedule the appointment before she leaves. But she hasnt gotten her passport yet. Its been a week since the interview.

I also read that at the USCIS that you dont need the I-134 for K-1. So why the hell people are stressing this and sending it to the beneficiary? They shouldve update the NEEDED requirements.
Thats true they really need to update it. On the requirements, it doesnt say that you need to bring the appointment confirmation page. Almost had to reschedule the interview if it werent for a nice old man who took us to a place where i could print it out. Luck was on our side haha. But yea if the affidavit form isnt required then people should chill out a little about that. I had it ready and everything.

Been a while since ive been on here but my fiancee got approved for her visa and she will be flying to hawaii next month. Im a little bit puzzled though because i went to the interview with her in manila and they didnt collect my affidavit form with the supporting documents. I asked the interviewer about it and he said that its not required at the manila embassy.
-
Should i be worried? I went to the interview with my fiancee and they didn't collect my affidavit form with my supporting documents. I asked the american interviewer about it and he said it isnt required at that embassy. They approved her for the k1 visa without it.

So which number do i call for the nvc? The one ending in 0888 or 0700? And do i need my fiances passport number?
-
You won't need bank statements. Take along your I-134, 2015 tax return, W-2, and recent pay stubs. They may not ask for any of those, but if they do, you better have them with you.
Usually, people get their medical a week or two before the interview. You can cut it a bit closer than one week if you need to.
Alright thats good to know.
-
That's about what I'm taking. I get statements mailed to me anyway, so they'll be in there also. Our medicals are this coming Monday; we set the interview for May 18th. I'm flying over on the 15th. Good luck to you. I'll be there about a month.
Alright sounds good. Funny im gonna be going to see my fiance on the 15th aswell. Hopefully i get my mnl number soon so i can schedule the interview a couple days after i land

Are bank statements necessary to go with the affidavit form? Would it be okay to just have the 1040, w2, paystubs, and letter of employment? My fiance is gonna be going to the manila embassy for her interview maybe next month and this is the only thing that im worrying about. I was also wondering how many days we should wait between the medical exam and the interview date.
