    Hi everyone

    I am writing because we received an RFE and felt the need to post in case it is helpful for someone else. We received an RFE on April 11, 2016 through email and text on April 18th, 2016 a week later got the hard copy and it was for "Circumstance of Meeting". I thought this might be what it was for because I misinterpreted the question I sent about how we met in person rather than how and when we met in general and started dating. So since I thought that might be what it was for I gathered all the information for that so I would be ready for when I got my hard copy to return immediately. I sent a detailed description of how and when we met and since we met on a dating site called OkCupid I also sent their Terms of Service and some other legal pages I felt might be useful and an email from the website customer service stating that they were not an International Marriage Broker for fear of getting another RFE if I didn't because I have seen a lot for that. Because I had already gathered my evidence I overnighted it back the same day. I hope this helps and will keep you all updated.

    Finally got the hard copy of our RFE today and it is what I thought it was for circumstances of meeting. Luckily that's what I thought it was so I had already prepared myself so I could send it back right away. I had the one page detailing how we met, the terms and services of the site OkCupid along with some other legal specifics from the site, and an email from OkCupid that they were not an International Marriage Broker. So I overnighted it and it will be there tomorrow! So happy to get our process going again.

    Hey everyone.

    I sent my I-129F on February 13th, and received my NOA1 Februrary 22nd, and of course like everyone that hasn't received their NOA2 yet, I'm anxiously awaiting! I was browsing through this thread and saw some of you unfortunately received an RFE which is making me rather nervous! So I was just looking through one of the copies I made of my packet and noticed that on the letter, declaration of having met in person I didn't necessarily specify how we met, just when we met, stating "My fiancé and I met for the first time in person on November 24th of 2014, spending November 24th - December 24th together"... But we originally met on the infamous Internet through a mutual friend via Skype. Will this score me an RFE for lack of specifics? I'm kicking myself right now because on the original letter I specified this matter but decided it was unnecessary information.. Thanks

    I kind of did the same thing detailed when we met in person instead of when we met in general and how. Bummer not sure that's what my RFE is for but that's what I think. It couldn't be anything else I have racked my brain and that's the only thing I can come up with. Good Luck

    My fiancee and I met on okcupid. I went ahead and contacted okcupid customer service and told them about my engagement and the imbra issues. Within 15 minutes they wrote back with a congrats and a personalized explanation that okcupid is not an imbra. I submitted this email and hopefully it will not generate an RFE. Let's see. What do you think?

    I am happy they replied to you so fast I sent them an email today as well when I received and RFE even though that might not be what it's for but it's the only thing I can think of just wanna be prepared so I can send it back immediately. I wish they would've replied that fast for me. Hopefully tomorrow I will here something. Could you possibly attach a copy of yours so I can see what they wrote? If not totally ok.

    Ugh sorry, I will feel the same way if I get one! Did you meet online? Seems like a lot of people are getting them for that, I think we might.

    We did but I don't remember putting that on there. The only thing I can come up with is on the form where it says attach one page of how you met. Like a question before that was asking if we had met in person within 2 years. So I assumed they wanted detailed about how we met in person not thinking they want the details of how we met originally. So maybe that is it.

    After 63 days we can finally stop refreshing the damn app. APPROVEDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD.

    Hey guys! Im so happy to say that we just got approved!! Such great news after a long day at work! Noa1 date was february 18th

    I just got a notification from the app that my case has been approved yesterday! :):dancing::)

    I'll update my timeline right away. Congrats everyone who also got this good news today. I hope everyone who is still waiting, will get their NOA2 soon as well.
