We will schedule your interview and send you a notice. Please follow any instructions in the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.
I am ready, and you?
Where are my Detroit fellows? How long will take to receive a notice for schedule now?

We are Detroit and we got our notification "case is ready to be scheduled for interview " Feb 10th and nothing since so I've been wondering what to do. Just wait and do they let us know when our interview is?

The AP/EAD combo card will show "received" while it is in processing. It means they have received your application and it will change when card is produced and mailed out.
^^^ is separate from the I-485 which as you state now shows "ready to schedule interview". You sent 3 different applications. They are processed separately.
Thank You So Much For The Information

No I really don't know the process that well but the EAD and AP still say case received. So I don't know what all this means.

Hi all
Adjusting from a K-1 visa. We sent our packet out yesterday 11/21/16 it should be there today. looking forward to the journey with all of you. See a couple familiar profiles.
I am so disappointed in myself with all my research that I did I didn't know we needed to file for AOS within the 90 day also we were having trouble coming up with the money we didn't find out til last Fri the 18th so we scrambled all weekend and yesterday to come up with the rest of the money and paperwork. I don't know what happens now does it mean he is illegal because his I-94 expires today? Does it cancel out his SS card he just got? I am freaking out that I messed everything up.

I finally got it to work! Thank you guys for your help!

Hi everyone I have a question I see people checking their visa status after their interview approval and I am wondering how? I used the same way on ceac website as when checking our case from the NVC to the embassy and it says my ID is invalid now. So not sure what I'm doing. Please help

Thank you! and congrats on your approval
Thank you

Hi all,
I finally got my packet 4 and my interview is on 28th. woot woot
wish me luck
Congratulations! Good luck!

Congrats to you!! What kind of questions were asked I wonder? What kind of information did they ask to see? Hopefully they issue the actual visa in hand not to long from now
I'm not exactly sure what they asked I didn't do the interview my fiance did. I can remember some of them they wanted to know how we met, about my trip to go see him, about my son, about the wedding and about the co sponsor. I know there were a couple more but I can't recall. I'm sorry. They said he could pick up his visa on the 18th.

We don't get any letter from the NVC, they just send it straight to the embassy. The only info we get from them is by calling them. Not sure if it differs from country to country.
Hello Feb filers and congrats on your journey to be with your loved one. I was hoping someone here could answer a question for those of us following in your footsteps...?
I was wondering how long it took for you to get the letter from the NVC after they forwarded your case? I am just trying to get a guesstimate because there's a few of us that need the nvc letter before we can move forward in our cases. I understand we can call and get our case number and what not but I need the actual hard copy. Thnx for your help!

Hi everyone Sorry I have another question right now the package with all the documents is lost and they have decided since they are paying me my money back that they no longer have to look for it. With that being said my cousin is going to co sponsor and is having a hard time recollecting them all we have all but the one from their bank and his job. When you go to your interview do they ask for those ones? What proof of income did they ask for? Also is the affidavit of support the only one that needs a wet signature? We are running out of time to get the docs to him as his interview is August 2nd so if they do not ask for the one from the bank or employer I'm going to send what we have which is affidavit of support from both of us, my updated version of the intent to marry, pay stubs from both, w-2's from both, fed income tax return from both, a copy of his birth certificate, a statement from my job, and a statement from my bank. In the packet 3 it says just w-2's and income tax return but in the visa journey list it lists all the other proof you need to provide. Thank you all in advance for your help.
