I will be booking flight for my fiance from cebu to ict, wichita ks in usa.
I can go through lax (los angeles) i can go through denver or dallas. Is there a better point of entry?
Anyone advise which is best point of entry for usa that you have experienced. Any other don't forget or don't miss tips?
Thanks

I called and received my mcl number from nvc the other day.
They said it was not mailed yet to manila.
I tried emailing and not getting any response to mcl request so i can have a written copy.
How long in normal process does it take for them to send me some sort of written notice of my mcl so we can move forward and schedule stuff?

After awhile u can call and have it expedited. So call them.

Without going into too much detail-- I have this crazy ex wife who I do have a kid with but everytime I drop my kid off or pick her up or she calls me or texts me there is a good chance my ex will say these nasty nasty things to me. So I pretty much told my ex recently that if she wants to me to watch our kid she needs to drop her off at my ex wife's mother's house and i will pick her up/drop her off there.
This may be too much detail but these things are really nasty-- I lost both my parents a couple years ago and she says things like you never loved your mom or your dad. Your a bad father, you don't love your kid, your a bad christian, etc. Our daughter is disabled and she says it is my fault she is disabled, etc.
I am actually considering getting a PFA (protection from abuse) against my ex because of this stuff. I'm about 100% sure if I get one against her and have it setup so we drop the kid off or pick her up someplace like a police station or my ex mother in law house my ex will also get a PFA against me, because that is what she did to the guy before me.
So, finally, after all that over share and such-- if I do get a PFA against my ex and she gets one against me-- will that come up and interfere with my k1 visa process with my new fiance? I have zero criminal charges in my background and in fact have called the police on my ex numerous times due to her crazy behavior but will this show up?

Buy a round trip with a return 3 months later. That way if your fiance changes her mind she has a ticket.
-
I think if it is time to end the relationship ask her what she wants you to do and do it.
You can't marry another Filipina for sure, or anyone else, while still married to your wife.
So ask her what she wants, discuss the options, then do what she wants.
-
Get your will made for sure. Bad luck is when you die and your wife doesn't get your stuff.

Most Filipinos I met were nice but at least a couple of them scammed me on my trip to Cebu. From what I understand Manila is worse. When my fiance goes there I am telling her to take taxi everywhere and stay in nice hotel to avoid bad area.
But overall even though I'm no expert on my one trip to your country I found the people hard working, morale, and well worth respecting.

Driving into Chicago, now there is true love. I would never go into one Illinois if I didn't have to. Doesn't recognize my conceal carry and also where more murders and shooting than any other city and yet I can't protect myself. What a cess pool. I won't even fly into that airport.
Glad they are here, tell your wife and daughter to never go back to Chicago!

My timeline shows its k-1 visa but I'm sort of bad with computers so I'm sure I messed something up.
My fiance is in the Philippines so I'm assuming the medical process is different than in Denmark.
But thank you for the reply. She may not be able to adjust her status until the vaccinations? OK, good to know.

Question about vaccination during medical. If my fiance is not up to date on vaccination and they give it to her at medical will she be able to get the visa or have to wait until vaccination series is complete if there is another shot or two required?
Been a long time since i had shots myself so i do not remember all this stuff.

I'm really no expert here but when you go to the embassy you can probably tell them any updated info like where to send paperwork to you, etc. I know my fiance has a weird address and I think she can tell them the specifics or even get the visa to be picked up at a 2go place or wherever instead of delivered. Also, I imagine you can just tell them your fiance address if it has changed when you get there. Maybe someone more informed can give you better advice.

You can google birth certificate and the state. I can order as many copies of my birth certificate as I want from the kansas department of vital statistics for 15 bucks each. Takes like 5 days to get here and order online with credit card. Same with divorce certificare, birth certificate my kid, etc.
-
I got one of those great big clips and clipped it all together. All lose. Then i had an attached envelope full of pictures and a couple documents that were certified copies since that is how they came-- my divorce certificate and my birth certificate. Don't care if they are copies because i can get all the copies i need for 15 bucks each from my state.
From what I understand they have to take all the stuff apart and file it so the less they have to screw with the better, I would imagine. -
If you got fired or got out of military, in both cases you may go ahead and file for unemployment. I'm not sure if that income qualifies but with unemployment and assets you may have enough if you have money in the bank, etc.
But also look for another job.

I had a problem with walgreens. Go to the post office they can do passport photos and they do it right.

There is a link showing processing times. It looks like you should be in the middle of it somewhere does it show anything on your status page?
I asked for an expedite and just today got the answer they denied my expedite. So of course I checked processing times. Supposedly they are working on stuff two months old in california where my package went. -
Congratulations and good luck to both of you and your kiddo.

I can tell you from personal experience if you don't get along or are not compatible before you get married it will not get better when you get married.
If you both are thankful and respectful now you will remain that way. If you are not now, you will remain that way.
I'm a divorced man who is engaged now to a filipina lady I talked to for 6 months and visited one time. We spent 14 days together and now we chat every day. Not one time during any of this have we been anything but thankful and respectful for having met each other.
My ex-wife was not thankful and not respectful of me and I also was not thankful or respectful of her.
It sounds to me like, unless there really is a language or cultural barrier, this guy is not for you.
Find a man who is thankful of you and is respectful of you. And you have to be the same, or it won't work.

I appreciate the response. I think i will send my VA benefit letter, My SSDI benefit letter, and my Bank statement. Then I will write a letter stating that because my income is non-taxable I do not pay taxes and sign and date that.
Hopefully that will be sufficient since my income is more than minimum. Actually when i bought my house for loan purposes my income was calculated higher because it goes farther being non taxable.
Thanks again for the response. This is such a long and complicated process Im sure im not the only one who worries about it.
-
If you meet the income requirement can you just show proof of income for I-134 or do you need to show tax returns? I receive VA compensation and SSDI but pay no taxes. I can show benefit letters from VA and Social Security with more than the minimum.
Also if my income is sufficient do i need bank statements?
Thanks.
Is there such thing as not enough evidence?

My fiance went into interview and she was asked a few questions but they didn't hardly ask for any proof of anything and she has her visa now. This was manila so im sure different embassy are different.
