Hi guys,
Is the 1 year extension (NOA1) of green card starts on the date of receipt (in my case 2/26/2016 to 2/25/2017) or 1 year extension from the date green card expired (5/22/2016 to 5/21/2017)?
When should I get I-551 stamp in the passport- after 2/25/2017 or after 5/21/2017?I’m going to Mexico on March 1st, 2017. From the way VSC is working I’m not sure if I’ll be getting my green card by then. Is it OK to travel to Mexico with i-551 stamp in the passport (Indian passport)? I don’t think I’ll have any issue in the US immigration when I come back but I’m not sure if Mexican immigration would accept i-551. Do any of you have information regarding this?

Shaiz - I'm going of applying for citizenship when I am eligible (next month) and not going to wait until ROC is done.
