  1. Hello, i have a question on the I-134 form, part number 8, should I list anybody i claim as dependent on my tax returns? reason I ask is because I am divorced with a daughter, i pay child support but have never claim her in my tax returns. Should I include my daughter there or not. Also for poverty guidelines what is my household number? I live with my mother and grandma, but like i said I have never claimed them as dependents in my tax returns, I read my daughter should be included there since she is a minor, but since I have never claimed her in my tax returns I assume that will not be the case. Hope to hear from you and shed some light on this issue. Thanks in advance

PS: Also part 11, should i click INTEND I assume, now i do not really get what comes after that, asking about the time i intend to support such person mentioned in part 3.

  2. had the same problem, just left it blank, just filled out her name, where it was filed and the result, which was approved. I included a letter explaining the reason i could not procure her Alien number, stated on the cover sheet the letter was included in the package. I filed recently and still have not received the NOA2, but i do not think i will have a problem with it, remember they ask such question because of all the fraud cases, they will probably go back to the old file and check to see if they notice something wrong, that is all. At the end of the day rest assure they have all that information in their system.

  3. You must understand that the time they give you is relative, they dont work for you, they dont owe you any thing and they run show. Calling everyday will not help. They will run all time of background checks specially coming from a middle eastern country.

correct and incorrect, they do work for us, all of us pay for their salary, they do run the show and i like to think they do the best they can, an accurate time frame should be the least they can do to calm people, not giving the run around going back and forth. It is not about owing, its about doing the job they are paid to do with our tax money, government officials work for their citizens.

  4. I don't think there is background check to see if the applicant is married or single for Tourist visa.

Like the common story here, someone applied for tourist visa put down as married (thinking that will increase the chance), get denied.

Come back later to apply for immigrant visa (spousal/K1 visa), CO then asked for divorce decree since he put down as married in previous visa application. Slapped with misrepresentation.

I do not think that is the case here, actually to the contrary she stated single as that is her status on her government ID, but then again I am no expert on the subject
