Wow, I guess I shouldn't be too surprised at these responses, but damn... sounds more like a political facebook flame thread than anything constructive.
This process, which I'm sure nearly all of us have undergone or are going through, can bring a TREMENDOUS amount of stress and pain, as most of you well know. That in and of itself should make you even more amenable to understanding the desperation that goes in to petitions like these. I wrote one myself to try to get one going for Canadians to be able to come over like VWP countries with no chance of AOS and just got ripped by people clamoring about my entitlement.
Yes, there are problems with the petition as it is stated. No, it won't kill you to be tactful, logical and objective in explaining why.
Then again, maybe I'm asking too much...
The good news is that, you can file your taxes as Married Filing Jointly (extra $$$).
You will need a certified copy of his passport and add his income to yours.

I guess it's just me, but I like traditional marriage not based on government documents. Marriage is between two people not a church or government. I don't know why it needs changed.
