No I haven’t received any notices about cancellations but I am going to just assume that it will probably get cancelled and rescheduled. Where is your field office?
Yes seem like the format of the pay ceremony has changed. Hopefully USCIS will resume scheduling interview soon.
I’m in Los Angeles. -

Thanks! I believe you will hear soon as well. Just hang in there, you're so close to the end.
I finally received an update today on my N400 🙂 saying that my oath ceremony will be scheduled !!! I’m so happy 💃🏻😄
not sure how the oath ceremony would work given gathering of large people is forbidden.
I did not get any update on I-751 though. Did you get an update about both cases?

Sorry forgot to update you. Yes, I heard back around Valentines day that everything got approved and my oath ceremony was late Feb a couple weeks ago. I think you should hear from them soon. I know someone else that it took about a month and a half or so to hear back. hang in there!
Awesome! Congratulations! Happy to hear your was quickly resolved.
Mine has been about 40 days since the citizenship interview. I’m hoping to hear something in the next couple of weeks -

I will. Please share as well. I feel like people from LA are underrepresented on here, even though there are so many applicants from our area. So hard to find posts from applicants who deal with the same downtown LA USCIS office. Good luck to you too!
Hey! Did you hear anything? Mine is still pending with USCIS without any update

Tootak, did your case get resolved?
Congratulations on your citizenship!!!

Tootak, this is disappointing indeed. Hope they get the I-751 soon. Did your N400 letter have info about N400 interview? Good luck!
We have our N400 interview in 2 weeks with pending i751 case. My interview letter has stuff only about N400. I will update my experience here.
The N400 letter didn’t say anything about i751 case, nor a combo interview but I had heard in many cases the officer just decided to combine the two cases.
I hope yours will be a combo. good luck! -
For sure !

It really seems like a toss up in terms of what kind of officer you get. Mine was super friendly and we had a long conversation about stuff that had nothing to do with my application or immigration.... but in the end, I didn't get an easy double approval. I've only been waiting for two days so far, and I know many people on here say they're waiting for months! Hopefully that's not the case, but I have a feeling it might be for me
I actually wrote my experience, you can read it if you want, should be able to find it on my profile.
Glad to hear you had a better experience. Hopefully the wait won't be too long. Thanks for replying back and please share if you hear any updates.
Good luck!

Yeah that's the same situation as me. I think the file was prepared to be a combo interview since the IO had the I751 in front of her, but I think there was some kind of oversight or miscommunication since the IO didn't realize that the I751 wasn't taken care of yet until the very end of our interview. So the I751 couldn't be completed at the same appointment. I feel like the IO would've approved it for me if he could, but I think he didn't have authorization to do that since he said that he would have his colleague sign off on it.
The office I met did not look like she'd be willing to help, lol, she didn't look happy.
So you're still waiting? How long has it been?

Hello everyone,
happy holidays !
I got a message today that my N400 interview is scheduled. Finally my case is moving ! I haven’t received the mail yet.
I’m hoping this is going to be a combo interview, as my 1-751 is still pending.So....today I had my N-400 interview. I was hoping it'd be a combo interview but the officer said I have to have another date for I-751...bummer....she looked reluctant and not eager to help. When I carefully asked here again if I can have both interviews today she gave me a firm no, said she cannot do I-751 interviews.
I was prepared with all documents for i-751 (and I had my hasband with me) but at the end of the interview she just scanned the documents and said I passed N-400 interview but "no decision can be made at this point" and I'll need to wait until my I-751 is accepted.
I'm disappointed that I need to wait again. Anyone had a similar experience? How long usually it takes after N-400 interview to hear about a pending I-751?

Hey everyone,
I have my N400 interview next week. My i751 has been pending for 23 months now and is officially outside the normal processing time frame for my area (Los Angeles). So I submitted a case inquiry hoping that it would tell me that my i751 would be adjudicated at the same time as the n400 interview. Not surprisingly, the email response I got was literally, "We are still reviewing your case. We will mail you a notice when we make a decision." Probably the most useless response I've gotten for the past two years of waiting and waiting. My i751 was filed in Feb 2018. Since then, I've not even gotten a biometrics notice or a letter stating that I didn't need biometrics at all, which prompted me to apply for my n400 in May 2019 to try and get some kind of movement in my case. Shortly after filing the n400, my i751 got transferred to NBC (in June 2019). Since then, nothing.... Anyone have a similar experience to mine? I'm just so done waiting for things to happen.
Hi
Did you get a condo interview? My case is very similar to yours. I filed for I-751 ay 2018 and N400 in May 2018, in Los Angeles.
I went for N400 interview today, I was hoping it'd be a combo interview but the office said she cann't perform an I-751 interview....bummer
I passed N400 interview but received a letter that USCIS cannot make a decision in my case, because my I-751 is still pending. I'm disappointed that I need to keep waiting
Anyone has a similar experience? How long do people usually wait after N-400 to get a decision?

Had my combo interview Dec.13th although I never received anything that said it will be a combo 751/N400. Go prepared with all your updated documents from the time of filing for 751 and spouse with you to be sure. IO only interviewed me for both but I’ve read for some that spouses also gets an interview. Goodluck!
**Oath ceremony next week 😊
Will do. Thanks for letting me know and congratulations on your citizenship 🎉

Another week has passed and no news on the green card or even an interview.
I'm happy to have atleast my EAD but it's nice to know when I will get my green card so I know I don't have to worry about anything for another year and 6 months.
How is everyone in February doing regarding on getting there green card ?
I hadn't check here for a while. I have some good news. My GC was approved last Monday and I got a text message on Friday that it wassailed to me. I'm so excited to go back home in the evening and check the mail box!!!

Hey Tootak--I'm sorry about the disappointing news. In this instance, I would definitely say to skip the 15 day wait and contact your congressman directly. I have experience with this, and their office is usually very good about helping out their constituents!
Good idea! I will email the congressman. Thank you for your help Francais_usa!

Omg this must be maddening.I feel your pain. I pray that this is resolved and you're granted a waiver for their incompetence.
Thank you HopeFab. I hope so too. I'll keep you posted if there is any updates.

You can still ask him to go with you and stay in the car or in the street. Let the officer know he’s there and he can attend the interview if needed. I hope you can have a combo interview and have both cases approved at the same time. Good luck!
