How long can one stay out of country while having the green card? is there a limit of months, days, etc. . . . (I'm sure it affects when one is trying to apply for citizenship because they will ask how long did you stay out of country?)

Someone I know did that and immigration officers asked them if they have the money to have the child in us, they had to deposit $4,000 and show evidence that they have the money to have baby and they were allowed to have baby. But it also depends on the officer too. Also know another person who was sent back on the next flight. So it's your luck.

If one has visitor visa, and their petitions gets approved, can they come and adjust their status or no? What are the options? Available? Legally without breaking any law. Also, if husband petitions on green card, should they come together and adjust their status while petitions? What's are he options???

I'm waiting for my ID to be used in my home country than I'll be able to renew my passport. Because part of the requirement to apply for SSN is having unexpired passport. Which I don't have yet. But I would like to petition for my family asap.

Just got my green card and had my work permit for at least 9months. I'm trying to petition for my spouse and kids do I need to have SSN or no. I have expired passport and do not have a current unexpired passport yet.

Can I file and be the agent of my Parent and At What point do I sent in my Choice of Agent form. I am the petitioner, Do I complete the form or my parent?
