Anyone knows new slots for interview from GUZ consulate?

We got CC two weeks ago and NVC is still waiting on GUZ consulate to inform them the available interview dates. What?!

I just read in this thread a couple days ago that there were new slots for April 5-April 12th.

I do not understand how these dates were not available for NVC to schedule appointment?

BTW, once you log on their (hospital's website), what is the earliest date possible to make medical check up appointment?

Is it easy to book the dates at your convenience (eg; for after two days or for the following week) or is something like the interview dates itself that we have watch out every now and then to schedule the medical appointment?

Yes, she went to Beijing and got both the check and vaccinations. The require the check first then the vaccinations the next day etc... So it took 2 days.

Do you mind sharing how many vaccination in total? I am afraid it won't be prolonged for additional day for me on top of those 2 days you mentioned..

Also, you cannot just walk in... you need to have an appointment.

You mean, even to get the results, you still need to make appointment?

Kind of confused. Because we definitely need appointment letter before we could start the medical examination anyway.

My fiancé and I have started the K1 process but have run into a stumbling block, we lived in Shenyang China for two years and cannot get a certificate of no criminal record. Neither of us are from China and we are no longer there. We have contacted the police and embassies in Shenyang. It appears that we must be in China to get the record check but this is not possible for us. It is such a small part of the process, but without the certificate of no criminal record we fear that our application will be rejected. Does anyone know how to obtain a certificate of no criminal record from China without being present in the country? Thanks.

In Beijing, you can get it without being in Beijing itself. Someone can go with the copies of your passports etc and get it.

Do not know for Shenyang.

Sorry if this was misleading considering it was back in 2013. It is possible that it is taking longer now. I highly recommend you view other peoples timelines and you can see how long it took them to receive the visa

We are waiting on the NOA1. The package was received yesterday.

She is currently in Hangzhou near Shanghai. Here visa expires soon so hopefully they expedite it or she gets one renewed.

Which service center are you going through? We will end up in Texas I think.

Ah I see, work visa extension through work should not be any problem.

Ours were through California and is F2A. I am currently waiting for Case Complete from NVC this week. (fingers crossed!)

It would really be relieving to know if it only takes 8 days..

I read in CandleForLove that it might take about 15-20 days.

Can my soon-to-be receive her vaccinations during the medical check in Beijing or does it need to happen on different days?

If it is Beijing, can you share how long did it took to get her results back? I read somewhere for Beijing it takes 5 working days?

I understand your fiance also needed to take her vaccinations?

I also do not have any vaccination records and given my age, I should be needing 2-4 vaccinations. I wanted to know when would I be able to get my report back when vaccinations are taken?

Same 5 working days?

Also, were the vaccinations taken on the same day? I read somewhere that sometimes you have to go there the next day to take vaccination to avoid any side affects.

The problem is that I need to confirm that this will actually be possible, since I will need to decide my passport pickup center according to that a lot earlier than my appointment.

I am a foreign national in Beijing and waiting for my case to be processed at Guangzhou.

I understand a lot of applicants would be Chinese nationals at Guangzhou Consulate and some of the questions I have will have nothing to do with Chinese nationals.

For example: When you visa is approved and while they are processing your visa, what am I supposed to do in Guangzhou for two weeks long while waiting for passport?

For Chinese nations, they can just return to their places with their national ID card. Since I am a foreigner, I won't even be able to take a flight or train back to Beijing.

I'd really appreciate if there's anyone who could share their similar experience on this.
