hi guys, does anyone have an idea on whether the whole family should travel together for the first time entering poe ? or can we travel separately on different dates ?

Hi my family and I had the visa immigrant interview in Beirut in 23 may, but we were given the 221g paper for missing documents. After submitting the missing document we were contacted after a month by the embassy, saying that the visa is accepted but we have to submit the ds260 again and we have to scan our fingerprints again too. 

First does anybody know how to submit the ds260 again ? its not working on the CEAC page since we already filled them before.

secondly is this process normal ??

my interview date was 23 may. We had a problem with the birth certificate, which we submitted last Wednesday. They told us it is accepted.

I just checked my visa application status, and the last update was June 2, but still under administrative processing. is this normal ?

congratulations, chances are we were in the same place at the same time

I gave them the document yesterday and they told me it is accepted, and they will call us to bring the passports.

So as I understand you are going on family based immigration. I know the process from start till the point you reach is very long. I hope you will success in submitting that document.  Then it might take other time till final review, perhaps 2 months plus or minus

well apparently my district has lost all records of birth certificates for people born before 1954, so we couldn't make one for my father

may I ask what documents were you missing ? We had a problem with the birth certificate and they need another one

I had the immigrant visa interview at Beirut today, and it turns out my father has a missing document, and we received the 221g. We are now obtaining the missing document to submit it. I hope they won't take too long to process

Great news guys, just called the nvc and got the interview letter 23 may 7:45 am !!!!!!!!!!

I think most probably the NVC will finish processing for the batch that has already finished their cases, before pausing in order to give time for the next batch. I hope I'm right
